5/20 Royals @ Whitesox 1:10 start. Giolito VS Lyles
I think we should support TA instead of tear into him a lot. Just my opinion. According to some reports he's playing hurt which we want Sox to do oft times rather than go on the DL regularly. Maybe he's headed back to the DL soon. I think we all know Anderson is a good baseball player. Personally I see no reason to bash him. There are plenty of villains. I don't think he's one of them. Just my opinion. I'm not a huge TA fan. I just recognize he's not the problem IMO. Why not try something diff and support him a few more months.

That's a One Hit White Sox Winner!
Nice. Thanx for the stat. Sox are trending upward a little bit in a few different areas. Woulda been nice to not let the season get out of hand so early tho.

Glad the bullpen didn't blow it. Sox will take the solid victory in just 2:06. Nice win.

5/19: Royals @ White Sox - 7:10 PM Start
Nicky played high school ball in Naperville.

5/19: Royals @ White Sox - 7:10 PM Start
Greinke may be the worst starter in baseball or one of 'em. Tonight has to be an automatic W. Don't care about jinxes. This team isn't good nuff to worry about jinx statements. Just beat this pathetic Royals team or will Massey and Lopez single handedly beat Chicago cause they have a few family and friends in the stands? This sad excuse for a team needs to dust off the pathetic Royals like everybody else does. Final: Sox 9, KC 2. On to game two. Right?

5/18: White Sox vs Guardians - 1:10 PM Start
Those first two wins of the series (with homers) were making me think Sox were gonna go on a binge at least at home. They were awful today; as dull a game as they've had all season.

Goodness. Sox are such a collection of badness.

Good scouting. Hit it right at that SS. Puke 1 out

I love me some Burger but guys who never take a pitch are a.) rare in baseball and b.) mathematically will have lousy batting averages. That's for the few people who still care about batting averages tho.

Burger likes to swing; rarely takes a pitch.

5/18: White Sox vs Guardians - 1:10 PM Start
Three of the Sox players I hate the least are up right now.

Nice day to relax at a ballgame cept for the prices of course and the fact the Sox have done zip so far today.

No bats. Sox don't believe in sweeping series the past several seasons, actually prolly dating back to my man, Oz's Sunday lineups when we actually had a good team.
-
And That's a White Sox 3 HR Winner !
Might as well keep the bats sizzling. Nice win again. This is better than finding a way to lose every night. Burger mania.

5/17: White Sox Vs Guardians- 7:10P
Amazing how Sox are finally flexing up and hitting the long ball at home. When's' the last time we beat Cleveland 2 in a row (not counting some dumbo games at the end of September). Games that sort of counted.
-
Who would you actually pay to watch hit?
Robert and Burger are the only 2 on the team I'd pay to watch hit.
-
And That's a White Sox HR powered winner and Lance Lynn 1st Win Victory.
I'm not an unreasonable fan ... kudos to Sox when they win. Once again when Sox play 'modern baseball' they do better. HRs. Nice bombs tonight. Robert turning into a star before our eyes; same with Burger. And the guy i've hated on, joe kelly, is dealing. And apparently Lynn is better than a DFA candidate. So nice win. If you are going to have as bad a record as the Sox, at least try to stay 'in it' by dominating division foes. Verdict out on that; Sox still can't play on the same field as the Royals.

Celebrate Luis Robert
Robert is pretty good. The games I watch he chases a lot. Pity me. He's a pretty good player.

Garfein: Tim Anderson hates pitch clock, not Chicago
Let's all be reasonable here. We can dislike Timmy at times but he didn't say he hates it here. He hates the pitch clock (which fans love). He still is one of our few multi-hit guys. Has a lotta multi hit games. He's not the best defender but improves there every year and has a good bat. But on this issue? Cmon. He's not evil.

Is Vaughn a good enough 1b to rebuild around?
At least Sox have one guy who looks like a lock for 35-40 homers per annum if he doesn't get hurt. He'll hit 30 plus this season if no injuries.
-
Is Vaughn a good enough 1b to rebuild around?
Sox don't seem to value the long ball. I like Andy Vaughn but don't expect a ton of HRs. Crushed doubles.

Garfein: Tim Anderson hates pitch clock, not Chicago
I agree, still Pedro should be embarrassed at his group of injured losers.

5/14- Astros at Sox, 1:10
I hope somebody from the team reads this. It's possible.
-
5/14- Astros at Sox, 1:10
What's it like at the ballpark this year? Good food? Reasonable prices?
-
5/14- Astros at Sox, 1:10
Oh boy, the Sox stink. We lose again, 4-3. Poorly constructed ballclub with a rookie manager. Puke.
