We make ordinary pitchers (aka the cubs and royals) look like Cy Young on a nightly basis.

I'm at work right now. The game isn't on TV mercifully for me. Oh it's so fun to be a fan of a team that scores a run or two each and every night.

They won't build a statue for him in the outfield, but I also wish he was still a Sox as well as Maggs.

If we would have swept the Royals, it might have been a starting point. Now the good feeling of starting to hit vs. Tampa is gone. To get shut down like that the last six innings is ridiculous. Bannister was bad early. He should have been abused tonight.

Everett can't do any worse than the hacks we've been trotting to the plate.

It pretty much would have taken about 12 in a row which I'm guessing would be the longest win streak in team history. Tonight's loss puts us back in crapville. Sox offense sucks.

I have yet to watch a game this year where anybody on the Sox hits the damn ball. I didn't see any of the Tampa games. It's so frustrating. What a pathetic offense. My god. I am out for now. Have a good weekend. So frustrating after sweeping the Rays.

As bad as KC is, at least they've developed a bullpen. A bad starter (Greinke) is doing well. He sets up Soria who sets up a good closer in Dotel. They have a couple good young hitters who are hot in Teahen and Gordon and DeJesus.

Who cares about limiting the damage. The offense sucked and we lost.

When a team has sucked as badly as the Sox all season, it's up to the veterans to get on a tear EVERY NIGHT til the team gets back to .500. Paulie had to stay hot. After a good series in Tampa, nothing tonight against a horses*** starter. Same with Thome. AJ did get a double. This team had a chance to open up the game with bags loaded one out early against a shaky Bannister. Couldn't do it ... game over. Nice job, millionaires.

But I'm saying the game wa slost by then because of the offense. You manage differently when the game is already over.

Let's hope our stay in last place won't be as many years as KC's.

It isn't Ozzie. It's all about the offense. Can't you see that? We had over 9 hits a game each game in Tampa and won them all. We hit we win. This game was all about our bats.

Game over. The transformation is complete. KC has a better team than the White Sox two years after the title. Amazing.

Count can still pitch, that's for sure. p.s. Why can't we ever get a bunt hit? They can help.

Good move; Gobble sucks. Greinke is a real pitcher. I'm amazed in the games I've watched how anemic this team is. They never have a scoring outburst. They are incapable of it. Do you realize how good the starting pitching has been this season? What a waste.

I didn't see any of the Tampa games but I was happy reading the box scores. We finally hit. This is amazing we've immediately reverted back. We shoulda got Bannister early. Once again, bases loaded one out we get one run. That was the ballgame. Another quality start wasted unless we get a couple homers to tie it. Royals have a good bullpen, but Gobble is the weak link if there indeed is one.

After this series we will be in last place. You are right; that is sad.

It's all about hitting. We got 3 hits; we gonna lose. Sickening after getting so many hits each night in tampa. I hate to put it all on Thome, Paulie and AJ, but they have to hit the ball out of the park against these horses*** teams or we gonna LOSE.

No he won't. He's not stupid. BTW, I am not saying we are going to turn it around. But once again we get double digit hits and win. If the lineup could suppy our great starting pitching double digit hit offense on a consistent basis, we'd be in the wild card hunt before September. Again, I realize it won't happen, but you can't deny our starting pitching is Pennant worthy. It was and is all about the hitting and our horrid bullpen.

I find it impossible to believe anybody wants their team to lose. I'll shut up now. I'm done spouting on this matter.

I know you don't care about my mood. I'm asking about your mood. You don't feel better when your team wins? There are no guarantees about any draft pick. My god, we could pick fifth and wind up with the best player. I want to win every game. I find it hard to believe I'm not in the majority. I mean if I lived in chicago like before and had season tix, I'd damn well want to win the games I attended. Losing sucks.

I hope the "stud prospects" pan out better than Reed, Borchard, Olivo, et all. I'd rather keep our studs and do the free agency thing. It's Jerry's money, not mine.

But winning helps my mood. Doesn't it help yours? I want to win.

You are assuming KW is a complete moron. He's not going to decide we are great if we start winning. I am not saying we are going to make a splash, but my god, why give up? What if somehow we start hitting (paulie, thome and aj were 6-12 tonight) and got red hot and crept close to .500 by the break. The Astros sucked a cuople years ago and rallied. Again ... I do not think this will happen, but to want us to lose I believe is ridiculous. I want the Sox to win every night. Am I alone in this???
