I'm like you. Holy s*** are the words that come to mind. We won despite those incredible cub catches at the fence! Many contributors! Guys picking up guys who flopped in the game! Nice win, White Sox. Very nice. These guys deserve credit today. Many heroes. Good job.

Well we just got screwed by those 2 great catches. We had the ballgame, but the Scrubs fielders came up big.

Too bad Bartolo felt he couldn't be aggressive today, walking too many Scrubs. Our only hope is to pull this game out of our ass. Konerko is so bad it's sad, really.

Paulie's done. He cost us this game along with Colon's walks. Paulie's at bat with one out was ridiculous. He pops up and simply kills us. He's meat; he's cooked. He should be sent down the rest of the season and try it again next spring with the big club.

I don't only because we average about 7 hits every 35 at bats. Not good. And I don't like D'Angelo and Harris. And with Paulie having the bad year our lineup is pretty weak. But I love our play of late.

I like everybody's opinions, including ncordl who i respect for his inside knowledge. I'm concerned about colon after what you wrote earlier, but he does give us some national respectablity and we need a stopper the year we make the playoffs.

Believe me, the Royals are OK. They play HARD. They have a good manager and are really hungry. We might overtake them, but they are young, hungry and playing HARD. They also have a history of playing well against us. Don't discount KC.

Great point that Colon does give us a shred of respect nationally. Colon should go nowhere. If he is a prick in the clubhouse some veteran should do something to put him in his place or we don't deserve to win anyway.

He's more harm than good, we don't need him as he is pitching for US now. Get a TON (heh, heh) of talent for him now. --Keep him, ncorbl. Why can't our other veterans put him in his place. If he's mocking players why doesn't Jose V. or Frank put a bat up his ass??? 3. Launch Jiminez. Anywhere, minors, Toledo Mud Hens, McDonald's, Village Car wash, doesn't matter, the guy is not helping us. Package him with Colon. --God yes. Get rid of this guy and Harris. They both suck! Why are they in the big leagues?? 4. Bring up Miles for 2B. --Yes or put Graff there. Get rid of D'Angelo and Harris! 5. Name Valentin team Captain. That would unite the team, the clubhouse especially with those two gone, and spark this team to a great second half. I also feel sorry for PK, don't hate him. He gave us some monster years. Hope he can fix the problem somehow.

We pretty much need a new ss, 2B and cf. The question is how do we rebuild in those 3 positions? Any ideas? I'd be all for bringing up minor leaguers to replace Jose, D'angelo and the stiffs who patrol center for us. I'd rather lose or be mediocre with new bodies.

Koch is such a disaster. Like you said, it's the Ritchie deal all over again. He is a joke.

Good point Laura. I don't think we're negative all the time, though, and we're not fair weather fans. We are still here. We just want to either win or lose pretty, not lose like a bunch of rubes. As far as tonight, I am very impressed with Marte and Koch especially after their recent woes. And it's nice that the team won in Minnesota after blowing that lead to the Cubs Sunday. It gives us a glimmer of hope that we may possibly have some heart this year. I sure hope so.
