This is undeniably true. The worst are those with the nasal game show host voices. I have one minor complaint from last night. The two kept praising each other for predictions they made in the pre-game coming true. It's hard to not do that, but you have to stifle a bit more than they did last night on that front. Otherwise, I'd say enjoy the ride with those two. They are very good. I didn't really notice the jokes last night. Were there any specific examples?

Is this the longest game thread in regular season history? It has taken me forever to read it. I wanted to make sure to get to the point where Avi got the big hit and of course where Jose hit the bomb. Entertaining thread I must say. We lead by two with three outs to get. Cmon Mr. Closer, put away the Brewers. You know ... if we have to play at Milwaukee it does help us they have no fans IMO. Brewer fans are loud. GO SOX finish it off.

Maybe it's just coincidence but I've personally had two horrific experiences with United. Really no problems worth mentioning with SWA. I've found SWA to at least care a little bit. Only reason I'd take United is if I had to. SWA rules.

Even I won't go to the casino during the pandemic. Not sure if the delicious buffet is open anyway. I'm just assuming a casino is full of COVID carriers.

I'm not trying to be difficult yet but the Royals are abysmal and it's a long season/rebuild. We would have gotten Robert no matter what, right? He was an international signing I think.

Actually during a time when people aren't flying much they would probably be more apt to please the customer than in a normal year when all flights are full all the time. ... I love the Karen videos, I really do, but I feel sorry for my cousin Karen. She is a 30-something, very kind and not a big fat pig, and the nicest person you could imagine. She's the polar opposite of the Karen we know nowadays. Sad her name gets mocked now. I do love those videos. It especially amazes me how many Karens get mad at people for pulling over to the side of a road in a neighborhood, or going to a pool, or trying to get in a building to visit somebody, or being told to wear a mask. We've got some spoiled, very entitled, mean peeps in the USA. And most of the Karens you see on the videos are overweight and ugly and very scary.

I love that one dugout camera shot after Eloy got his fourth hit yesterday. Abreu was major league happy for him. Abreu needs to start elevating like you say, but he's nice to have around and he had a great series with the mitt u must admit. Actually he got the hit that broke the 2-2 tie today and he made that play on that smash to first in game one in the ninth with us up 3-2. Coulda been a double with no outs.

I'm from Chicago South Side, but I really don't like Cheesecake Factory (on trips to Boulder my friend always made me go there, overpriced and not great and now closed); and I don't like expensive steak houses either. Give me Kansas Speedway buffet anyday (pre COVID of course) or Green Valley Ranch buffet in Vegas anytime. I also despise Red Lobster type places and Applebees types. You hit it. Any of KC's BBQ joints are fine for me. And believe it or not, Lawrence has an excellent BBQ joint.

Yes the Royals blow, but that doesn't matter. Sox won all three and that's tremendous. Sox could have lost Game One. Could have lost game three. Not to cause a fight or boast, but my guy, Abreu had a big hit to make it 3-2 today. And then Grandal came through again. Even though KC sucks a sweep is great. That was so cool the way we bashed Holland around. I won't go through all our guys but all our young superstar types were terrific. And Madrigal is hitting .333 which as we all know is rare for a Sox player just brought up, not named Robert. Hopefully the Sox pitching staff can continue to do well and improve and the guys can develop a winning culture if there is continuation of the season much longer. I still think besides the Cardinals and Marlins ... one more outbreak and it's over. And if the Cardinals can't play all week and Marlins can't ... that's very weird to the scheduling.

I go at 5 p.m. It's actually kind of depressing weekly with only about 20 peeps. Nice hitting this inning so far.

Sounds dumb, but write a letter on real paper and mail it to whoever is their president/CEO now. I did that once and got credit. they can do whatever they want in these instances and are going to give a "sorry, but ..." to your email and a "sorry, but ..." to your phone call. What happened to you is so infuriating. it's the worst part of travel. To catch a 9:15 am flight nowadays u get about 4 hours sleep the night before and there is a hurried atmosphere in getting to the gate 50 minutes early, etc. Then you get delayed soooooo long you will be so tired when u finally get to south carolina. Sucks.
