  1. You wear a Sox sweater? Can we see it? Cool.
  2. Now do you agree with Greg that we win 48 49 games?? We're back in the dumpster which I expected.
  3. Is Coop as good coaching these tall pitchers as well as he succeeds with normal sized pitchers? Gio is 6-6 and how many of those guys have problems?
  4. It amazes me how some people won't criticize the guys we got in the trades. We have the right to blast them and question Hahn until they start producing. These guys are all making good money, produce.
  5. Now we know RR is gone. He won't be manager next season unless we're expected to lose 110 games again.
  6. I'm thinking Trayce will be DFA'ed soon. Poor guy is gonna have to play Independent League soon or enter the real world. Just another guy who can't hit a baseball. Tough sport.
  7. Damn. Relievers need to throw strikes Minaya.
  8. The umpire thing was the greatest moment. Hawk made national news with that rant. I loved it. I loved his work. He and Wimpy and Stoney, good stuff.
  9. Interesting. Thanks for the report on Lopez's game tonite.
  10. Looks like Lopez gave up nine hits; how did he pitch? Only 3 runs.

please calm down about Moncada. When it matters, he will hit. Until then I bet he's .230-.250 with some incredible games, some lousy. From what I've read he isn't the greatest competitor. When a team is this bad, yes he'll lose focus on occasion. He'll hit when we get good, folks. He'll hit some before then too.

No they wouldn't replace him. Hahn is beloved cause we want to lose, remember?

I don't say flip fanatics or flip-niks with hate. There are some people on here who live for trades and constantly talk about flipping prospects. My lack of creativity I guess leads me to say flip fanatic, flip-niks. I love Covey right now and Coop of course. I hate flipping players so obviously I want to keep Covey and wish him continued domination. It's been great using my mlb.com and seeing him fare well.

I still say Humber is a good comparison right now. Humber had a few good starts. Can Covey keep excelling and be way more than Humber? I sure hope so. I like watching Covey pitch. Really do. I don't know why some on here think I'm dissing him. I love what Covey is doing and DO NOT want to flip him.
  15. Man, Tilson is fast. Hopefully he's the real deal. Speed burns.

For all the flip fanatics ... if Covey keeps this up (remember Humber was good for a while, too) are you wanting/dying to flip him at the deadline? I am of the opinion we are getting close to ending the rebuild and starting to contend, and we need some reliable pitchers, thus might want to hold onto Covey. Now if I was wrong about Soria and we can get a real prospect or two for him, I of course would be all for trading him. But when does the flipping end? Like I said if Covey keeps this up, he might be useful starter for our first contending team in the string of contending teams. My guess is the flip-niks would want to trade Covey in the scenario I describe. Soria of course. Shields of course if they are worth anything. At what point do u wanna stop flipping and keeping and contending?
  17. I'm getting close to apologizing. I've praised Coop for this reclamation. I don't know how he's doing it but I can't argue with his last 5-6 outings. If ptatc would study his last couple seasons maybe he knows what is going on.
  18. Happy fans. Nice win. Soria is on quite a roll.
  19. If Soria gets another save and thrills this crowd again I may have to back off my hatred of him. GO SOX!
  20. You guys would listen to a podcast with greg I betcha (Palin voice).
  21. Caulfield is a great man. It was stunning when he blasted me over the transsexual thing in the SLAM area. It was unlike Caulfield.
  22. I did too. Did we have a fricking shift on???
  23. Fathom is right. Bad decision, however the pitch count wasn't bad.
  24. Should they take him out? Only 83 pitches. That ball was smoked but he prolly should stay in til 105 pitches.
