I like what Anderson is doing. This is all Sox fans want. Signs of him being special. He's been stroking it lately. 12 homers isn't bad. If he had a big final six weeks he could hit 18-20 homers. Again, not bad at all. He really is starting to look comfy hitting in the Cell during this long homestand. Abreu, Moncada and Tim Anderson could be 3/4 of a playoff caliber infield for the next 10 years. Just need a 3B to go with them. I'm glad to see Delmonico keep getting hits. Two triples in one night is good stuff from Mr. Defense. Obviously glad with our pitching. Lopez, Rodon at least give the Sox 2 good starters in a 5-man rotation. The rare occasions you get the good Miguel you have 3 guys who can finally win on a given night. Holland and Shields obviously are embarrasments.

I did read on CNN today that Russia and China are working on something. The article said, "Russia called on the Trump administration to keep calm, and on Friday Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told state media that his country was working with China on a "double freezing" plan to address the threat." OK. That should be getting way more publicity.For the world to survive this, we need Russia and China's help and support. If they are willing to help, that's huge and needs to be discussed. I hope they speed it up and make it clear to the world they are getting involved.

It might be time for anybody who wants to continue living to get out of Guam. Korea says it will attack soon. Well, the war to end all wars is indeed coming. N. Korea deserves what it's about to get. Now, will China and Russia nuke the USA in response to what we do to Korea? Maybe. Wouldn't it be smart for those 2 to combine forces and blow us off the map after we blow the Koreas off the map? I would think a combined Russia/China team could indeed end civilized life in the USA as we know it. Nobody knows how China and Korea are going to react to us dropping nukes on N. Korea. Think about it, though. N. Korea just today said they will bomb our bases in Guam. How can we not react? We can't just sit back and let thousands of Americans in Guam die. Tim Anderson had a great game. Has he come of age? Miguel G. is horrific most nights but does have a few outings like this. I'd say he could be a 5 starter on the team next year.
