  1. Real game of inches today
  2. Let's get the bats going, pick up your starter
  3. Very impressive keeping his cool under pressure vs. the top of the order HP has been doing a pretty solid job with both starters on the edges a lot
  4. Second time in two days Peters has just missed one
  5. Murphy opening and Hays batting 3rd for Charlotte. Murphy definitely rusty. Walk, popout, walk, HBP and then he's lifted at 22 pitches.
  6. Gross, Noah. Keep it up.
  7. I've seen a little chatter about NYY potentially going for a Ben Rice extension. Could provide another possible comp if they do.
  8. He was nails for us, but struggling to start the year with SF. Maybe he's like Fedde and needs a tweak from Bannister.
  9. Sox technically have a winning record in 1 run games now (3-2), they lost 70% of those games last season.
  10. Sox get win #11 at home and start another series off on a good note. They have won the opener in 6/9 series so far, but they are 3/3 on getting swept when they lose it. Save #6 for Dominguez, T-5 in the league behind Miller, Bednar, Sewald, and Riley O'Brien (STL). At 11-15, they are closer to 3rd in the division (Twins, 12-14) than last (KC, 9-17). They are 10-10 since opening road trip, and have won 4 of 5. Fedde pitched better than his line, really seems pitching here agrees with him for some reason.
  11. Top 20% baserunner so far this season, he's been hustling his butt off
  12. The ALC rookie class has been pretty formidable to start the season with Mune, McGonigle, Jensen, and DeLauter. A potential Mune ROY win could have the pleasant side effect of denying an extra pick to a division rival.
  13. Shelton is 3-4 with a double and now two HRs
  14. Encouraging that most of them haven't been cheapies either
  15. I hate seeing any rookie struggle in a debut, but the Sox gotta work with what they're given.
  16. 11 straight HR-only XBH to start a career is a new MLB record. Also ties him for the league lead. If Mune were to win the HR title, he'd be the first Sox to do so since Dick Allen in 1974.
  17. Check swing replay challenges are being tested in the minors and will likely work their way up like ABS
  18. Tied for the HR lead with Yordan now. Mune/Colson/Vargas also lead all trios
  19. 3rd in 6 AA games this season
  20. 10 straight scoreless appearances for Hudson in April, season ERA down to 1.54
  21. The Nats are opening with a LHP today, I would expect Beni back there tomorrow vs. a RHP. Also would expect him to potentially PH for Acuna or something later in the game. But Poulin has a 2+ WHIP vs. righties so far, it makes sense to give Meidroth and Pereira a chance to set something up early.
