  1. The Sox should not get any benefit of the doubt when it comes to developing position players. What star players have they developed in recent history? Tim Anderson, who fell apart before he turned 30? Congrats.
  2. You know what isn’t worth anything? Not making the majors because you fucked up your 15 homer swing trying to be a 25+ homer player. You are trying to compare a Sox prospect to a Dodgers developed star player, which is pretty much ludicrous as history should’ve already told you.
  3. You made up a hypothetical story about how Colson is working with his own coach(es) to hit for more power, to obviously deflect blame away from the Sox minor league development staff for Colson’s hitting woes.
  4. I was surprised at how they are out-suxing the Sox.
  5. I meant record-wise. It’s good that some of the individuals are performing though. All the less reason for Rojas.
  6. The case of a complete collapse DID happen. Does it even matter that we are still waiting for Rojas to play his first game at this point?
  7. It’s funny because I remember when Rojas was signed, some people questioned adding him when the roster was full of infielders already. Now I really don’t see the need for him. The sad thing is, Getz loaded up on all of these one year vets and I don’t see any of them being traded for anything of consequence at the deadline.
  8. Wasn’t he drafted at age 23?
  9. I know but other players his age could already have 3 or 4 MLB seasons under their belt already.
  10. I think it’s funnier when the CHSN team acts like he’s a true prospect when he’s a few months younger than Vaughn. Yes, he should be called up because Vaughn is so terrible but the hype for a 26 year old “prospect” is a bit funny.
  11. Halladay had already made the majors with a season of success under his belt. That instance would be more like the equivalent of the Sox sending Vaughn to the minors to work on his swing.
  12. I was going to say — has this ever happened before?
  13. Except the Sox are seemingly living in denial regarding Vaughn. Not the exact same thing but still bad.
  14. If they truly think this, they are more delusional than I thought. It’s time to accept the fact that you either drafted a bust or failed in his development. He won’t be on the team next season. He’s a sunk cost at $5.85 million for this season.
  15. Our new hitting director is paying off!
  16. I don’t care about the Orioles, but the only thing the Sox are showing is a flat line on their EKG.
  17. Nice bullpen, Getz. GTFO.
  18. He does? He is hitting .192 with a .562 OPS.
  19. That could just be false equivalence. How has he done fixing Robert, Vaughn, and Vargas?
  20. The Orioles offense started tanking in the second half of last year when he was still there.
  21. The guy the Orioles fired will fix him.
  22. Always bat the last player on your roster leadoff. Venable is definitely more likable than Grifol, but his lineups are just as bad.
  23. “Major League: Back to the Rebuild”
  24. Hopefully he will get some time to train for his new career…
  25. Nah, I’m good. I don’t need to cool down. Your response was vague. Thanks for clarifying.
