If only Getz would have done a better job at his previous roles. Then we might have better young talent to play right now instead of veteran non-roster invitees.

Well, some are equating it to his performance, which doesn’t make sense. Many Sox players suck, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t see the organizational dysfunction with their own eyes and can’t speak to it. The rest seem to be upset about his comments due to the recency of him playing for the Sox, but the guy just announced his retirement so he doesn’t give a F, nor should he. Word of the organization’s dysfunction has been shared by AJP over the last couple years so this should be no surprise. And of course some people choose to bash AJP because of it as well.

Still waiting for you to name another GM that set the loss record, has a chance to set it again in consecutive seasons, and still has a job.

This would be my guess as well, along with the lineup spot. I hope in a week or two we are laughing about Vargas being at the top of the lineup instead of Meidroth.
