  1. WOw...jon makes an awesome pitch and thats the 3rd dink hit of the game and its good enough for a run. The Tigs really got something going now.
  2. Tigers got a little 2 out rally going here with Polanco at the plate and the big bats on deck and in the hole. Come on Jon.
  3. Dye makes a nice catch at the wall. The ball was really carrying cause it didn't look like a rocket off his bat.
  4. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Jul 18, 2006 -> 05:08 PM) I notice the chat room link is no longer available at the top of the page..... Is the chat room still working? If so can you give me the link. In the upgrade we refreshed all that stuff and off the top of my head I don't know the chat link, lol. Otherwise I'll get to it tomorrow and figure things out.
  5. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Jul 18, 2006 -> 05:05 PM) It was a pretty damn good throw if you ask me. Right to the glove and low. Gooch had it knocked out of his glove. It was pretty much a two hopper to gooch. AJ is awful when it comes to throwing behind the plate. Sure he isn't helped by most of his starters, but Garland isn't one of those guys that is slow and deliberate.
  6. So Pudge had a squib hit, than got 2nd on a bad throw...not good and all it takes is a hit here and its a 1 run or tie game. Come on Jon
  7. Damn I thought we'd get the strike em out throw em out there, but AJ had an awful throw. Ball got in way before though.
  8. BA whiffs on a slider down and in after falling behind, but Juan had a nice hit and the Sox got another run. Inge made another great play to start the inning though (robbing Konerko) so thats twice where an early Inge play may have prevented a potential big inning for the Sox. We have hit Robertson but 2 runs to show thus far. Hopefully Jon can just keep kicking butt.
  9. Thome breaks his bat and we strand Guchi on 2nd. We've hit Robertson hard the past two innings. At least 1 run to show for all of it, but it could have been more (considering Anderson had a hang whiff em right at Inge).
  10. He gawn...2 down now with Guillen on 1st.
  11. Harrel hasn't been as good as of late, but he's due for a promotion and hopefully he can continue to get ground ball outs in AA.
  12. Dye and Crede came through for a run. Come on Jon Paulie makes a nice play to retire Maggs.
  13. This is what its all about as this type of series will and should be as close to playoff baseball as there is in the regular season. Lets go get em Sox.
  14. QUOTE(Slugger Yolando @ Jul 18, 2006 -> 03:15 PM) how do i set a darn avatar on this board? i'd like to put up a picture Welcome aboard. 19. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jul 18, 2006 -> 01:14 PM) Hey guys, I read in the paper this morning that for the last three innings of Sunday's game, Freddy was blowing in ninety four MPH fastballs. I believe it was either in RedEye or the Tribune, as I read both of them this morning. If true, d'you think it's a sign that he'll be throwing hard again? Some people contend that he's throwing soft as a personal choice. I never really bought that. Maybe he has, or maybe he's off of Dead-Arm. Any thoughts? His velocity was up. I commented in the game thread that he looked like he was throwing about as good as I had seen him all season. He wasn't getting hit and his stuff was into the 90's. I can't comment on how accurate the radar gun was though.
  20. If you notice anything that needs to be fixed please tell us. I also want to note that we will be fixing the quote box and bringing back the links to the other sites in the next hr or two.
  21. Just did a real quick upgrade to version 2.1.7. It adds a virus checker on our back end and I am not sure of any significant changes that any of us will notice. Namely just security improvements. Its the most up to date version of the board there is.
  22. Whisler is really on a roll.
  23. Were you the listener by chance?
  24. QUOTE(Dam8610 @ Jul 17, 2006 -> 05:14 PM) The Padres want a 3B. We want Scott Linebrink, as evidenced by the whole thread earlier in the year that was basically devoted to him. Apparently, the White Sox FO wants him too. They have Josh Fields to deal, who has looked like a superstar at Charlotte this year. They're inquiring about Andy Marte, so I'd be willing to bet they'd like to get their hands on Fields as well. You know, the more I think about it, if they are really dangling Linebrink for a 3b, they may just want to move Cameron for his contract (maybe they have other plans for CF) than if we threw in the right prospect to go along in the deal well it could make some sense. You usually don't see a contender willing to do such a thing though.
