I had to do it. I just ran into the kitchen holding a broom, waving it in front of my dad (Diehard Dodger fan). I know he'd of done the same to me. Hopefully we can meet again this year (ie World Series)

Bmac will get his first win when he pitches Monday or Tuesday...book it.

To go on with a little something. There are some reasons for why he's struggled down in Charlotte and to say the least Brandon has some things going for him this time around. I think we'll see the Bmac of spring training on Tuesday. Ken Williams was also quoted this afternoon as saying Brandon would stay up here for the long haul (potentially) if he pitchdes well I love hearing that. He made no mention as to whether it would be in the rotation or pen. All I know is if Bmac pitches well, he's going to be making the next few starts and than some.

Guys it was a done move earlier. No speculation, it was just fortified to 100% when he missed that start. I have heard this may be a little longer stint than the last one as well as the Sox want to make sure next time Duque is back his arm is 100%. I don't know what the status of his arm is and if they needed him to pitch they would let him, but I think they saw his past couple starts, mixed with tightness and figure its better to shut him down now for a few weeks than do anything else. Once again FutureSox.com breaks a story (got to toot my own horn a bit, lol).

This is all speculative right now (in terms of the day they are starting). But as of now Brandon is slated to pitch on Tuesday and it appears Garland is moving up. I have trouble getting stuff about the reasons for the moves, but Duque has been suffering from tightness in his shoulder and maybe the Sox decided it was time to sit him down (after his past couple starts). Hopefully I'll be able to get some more details about that later tonight. This could all change too, but as of now, he's slated to start on Tuesday.

I see no one wants to read But it appears that Duque will be headed to the DL (nothing official) and that Garland will start on Monday (thats on normal rest).

Micah Owings looked pretty solid the little I saw of him. Nice fastball, sliders looks good at times, but still has to work on it and add another quality offspeed pitch. But he has a good pitchers body, maintains velocity, and is a good athlete. Of course he's a hell of a hitter too. But did you all see that webgem by Bogusevic with the bases loaded and 2 outs to save Owings in the 5th or 6th?

Completely agree Jim. In fact, being at the game I was downright impressed with one of the balls Carl got to in the gap. He got a good jump on the ball and showed pretty good range as well. He missed the cutoff man a few times (and no damage was cause by it), but not overly and I'm sure that deals more so with rust. Plus right now he's really turning on the ball and his batspeed is back after that month where he was cheating every pitch and still wouldn't come close to the hard fastballs.

Brooks wasn't in most of the rankings because most everyone thought he was going to demand big bucks. It appears he wanted to go to a 4 year school (got up way too early this AM and was on a plane so I forget which school exactly), but if he wasn't, it appears he would of been a 2nd round talent.
