Trading Kornerko can help us fill some holes in our team (pitching, catching). Gload can get the job done. Won't put up as good as numbers as Kornerko but will help us put a winning team on the field.

I think anytime you trade two good players for one you are downgrading your team. Trading Lee would mean that Bochard or Everett would end up in the outfield full time and that would be ugly. Randy is old, good, but still old. Too risky.

You can't complain about a guy that homers off of Benitez to tie a game and hits a two run single off Francisco Rodriguez to tie a game, both of which where late inning hits and both pitchers are studs. They should come up with a stat that ranks a pitcher 1-10, 10 being the best, multiply a players hit by the pitchers multiplier then take the average. There are tons of hitters, Sosa, that get most their hits off scrubs and tons of players that step up against stud pitchers.

I think you have it backwards. Lee is a hitter, PK is a slugger. Hence Lee's .300 average and 25 hr and PK's .270 average and 35+ hrs.

Crede is worthless. My patience have run out on him.

I was at the game last friday. I have to admit that it was pretty awesome seeing that fan run on the field. He ran right towards a security guard then juked to the side. Announcers always down play how stupid those people are but I say no harm no foul.

We need to get rid of all the guys with crappy averages: Crede, Valentin and Bochard. Bochard is a no talent ass clown. He reminds me of a young Valentin who would strike out or homer.

I have 2003. It is an awesome game. Very addicting.

We should have traded him instead of Reed. Bochard has more power but that is useless if you can't put the bat on the ball. He is the next Russell Branyan.

I have a debate with a couple friends over this. I thought that if there is a line drive over third base, the ball is lower than 6 ft and it ends up landing in fair territory that it is a FAIR ball. As long as it is fair when it goes over the bag it is fair. Anyone know for sure?
