Why would the Gianats trade Jason Schmidt.

He is absolutely gutless when it comes to taking out a pitcher in the first 5-6 innings. I am stilltrying to figure out how you can play to lose with a lead like that.

Funny thing is that I don't think the Rockies would make that trade either.

Is he on the 40 man roster?

Now, that is funny.

This is one tough week coming up.

He sure left Munoz in too long. That game was Ozzie's loss. And he does not use Shingo enough.

He has started playing much better, about the same time he came alive last year, which is all the more reason not to panic and trade for a centerfielder for whom we overpay.

Is Vic Darrensburg on the 40 man roster??? I know Majewski is.

Mike jackson looks very releasable.

Munoz had lnothing. When Cotts or Adkins come in, they at least have some stuff on the ball. Munoz looks like he's fourteen land throws like he is sixty.

What's worse, Arnie's pitching or Ozzie's managing? No reason to leave him in there so long. That was not even batting practice. I don't know how he got anybody out any where.

Our minor league teams would look even better if we had Josh Rupe, Frank Francisco, Anthony Webster, Royce Ring, Bittner, and even Tim Hummell, even though he would probably be with the Sox if we had not given him away. Still, we do have the nucleus of a prety good farm system.

Did he look a little slow in the outfield tonight, or am I just imagining things.

We already have two veterans who have trouble getting through one inning -- Mike Jackson and Cliff Politte. And we used to have three. Who cares about veteran status.

Politte = Dreaded Leadoff Walk..

I am not for getting Everett. We would be stuck with him next year, and he would just get in the way of Reed/Borchard.

I can't see a big demand for Rowand. Maybe in the off season if he plays well for the rest of the season.

As I remember that trade, the Pirates were about to send Marte down or maybe even release him, so I thought that we gave up a pretty good propect for someone who couldn't make the Pirates. Matt had won 18 games the year before in the minors. So the Pirates ended up losing both Marte and Guerrier.

I look for the Sox to make a major push this coming week June 14-20 to sign a few more, especially our two college kids at the top of the draft.

Rex, I think Miles has established himself as the second sacker for the Rockettes the rest of the way. Gonzales has tailed off; Miles had two doubles today in a losing (of course) cause.

And they won it without Shingo.

I don't think Frank will be cheaper than Konerko next year.
