I saw a great interview last night of Rockie's manager, Clint Hurdle, and he kept saying, "Good for Juan, because he wan't going to play like that in Colorado." Then he said a bunch of positive things about Miles like hard work and not getting discouraged when he was sent down, etc. Actually, the biggest reason they sent him down was because they just plain needed a 13th pitcher, because they were getting rocked so hard every day.

Last year Koch's major contribution to the team was when he went on the DL. I bet it happens again this year.

Josh Stewart looked like he was afraid to throw the ball over the plate. Not so with Mark Buehrle.

A big bullet. Maybe he is not good enough to play for Montreal. Maybe Frank Robinson won't take his s***. How can a guy be hurt this long unless he has a broken leg, or something like that? I guess he was not the missing piece in Montreal, either.

I was down on PK after last year, but he has played pretty well this year -- so far. I have no compaints about him defensively. I have seen him make several really tough plays this year. You just have to accept his slowness, because he's not faking it. He'll be here next year, too.
