The Rally Crede should have been World Series MVP.

After hugging my entire family, the first words out my mouth were "Holy s***!" because the TV had "White Sox Win World Series" on the screen.

That picture reminds me of Jordan getting his first trophy. Opening Day, 2006. Here's hoping that Frank is the DH, batting in the usual 3 spot when they have the ring presentation.

If it's on LaSalle, I couldn't ask for anything more. I'll go on my lunch break and bring my camera.

I can now use this emoticon: FLY AWAY ASTROS. WORLD CHAMPIONS. CHICAGO WHITE SOX. If I'm dreaming, don't wake me up. I'll punch you in the face. One of the best days of my life. -
Awesome post Kap. But you left off David Sanders.

Soxtalk and all the members. I couldn't think of a better place to share this special season with. The mods, admins and everyone make this board the place to be. Though, I'll probably won't be around much during the off-season, it's been a fun ride. See you guys next year as we get ready to repeat.

Wait, what's going on tonight? Parents' house. No other place I'd rather be. Champagne chilling. Have the DVR and DVD Recorder all set up to run. (just, in case )

He's also the first pitcher ever to get a start and earn a save in consecutive World Series games.

So, did anyone place any pre-season wagers?

Went to Vegas in March during March Madness weekend. I was betting like a madman during those games. Then I went to the sports book to look at the baseball odds. Was this/close to dropping $100 on the Sox. Then I thought to myself, "C'mon these are the Sox" :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead -
QUOTE(rangercal @ Oct 26, 2005 -> 03:50 PM) I agree with him when saying the only missig person is Robin enjoying this.

Letterman by a longshot. Used to be able to stay for Conan. But I'm getting old. Leno, well, I'd rather choose the death option.

First things first. What have we won? Nothing yet. 1 more win. Next thing, sign Paulie. Then we'll talk about repeating.

QUOTE(rudylaw @ Oct 26, 2005 -> 03:27 PM) The Hurt deserves a World Series so bad. It is just a shame that he could not contribute in the playoffs. I think Frank will be crying like Jordan did once he get that trophy in his hands. OK I know we have to win first, but you know what I mean. I cannot wait to see a picture of Frank holding that trophy.

This group of 25 guys is is the definition of "team" it seems that throughout the post-season, there have been a different player that has stepped up each game. Let's run down the list. ALDS: Game 1: This was a total group effort, consisting of 5 HRs and great pitching by Contreras. Can't really count this game. Game 2: Tadahito Iguchi. Comes up with a clutch HR, after a huge error by Tony Graffanino. Game 3: El Duque: Cleans up the mess made by Damaso Marte. Comes on with the bases loaded and allows no one to score. Then proceeds to pitch two more scoreless innings. ALCS: Game 1: Even though we lost this one, I guess we can give it to Jose Conteras for keeping us in the game. The hitters just looked rusty. Game 2: Debatable. AJ for his heads up 3rd strike, running to 1st? Or Joe Crede for his clutch, 2-run double? Mark Buehrle for his outstanding pitching? If it wasn't for AJ, Joe wouldn't have the chance to bat. AJ is the hero in this game. Game 3: Paul Konerko for his blast in the 1st inning? Or Jon Garland for pitching so fantastic after such a long-layoff? I give it Jon for stepping up in his post-season debut. Game 4: The offense comes alive in this one. But Freddy Garcia is the hero, hands down for pitching yet another complete game for the Sox. Game 5: Without a shadow of a doubt. It's Joe Crede. a HR to tie the game. A clutch hit up the middle to score the go-ahead run and put the Sox in the World Series. World Series: Game 1: Jose Contreras does not have his best stuff, but the offense backs him. The hero in this one goes to Bobby Jenks for blowing away the Astro hitters. But this also could be debated. Jermaine Dye for setting the tone with a HR off the Rocket? Game 2: Pods. Need I say more. Game 3: Blum. Need I say more. Game 4: Well, let's just wait and see. As you guys can see, different people step up and different situations. This is the true makeup of a championship club. It's not only one person that delivers all the time. It's a team effort.

Sox bullpen: 7 IP, 10 BB, 10 K, 1 H, 1 R -
BLUM !!!! I know it was late, I had to make sure I was still awake and I wasn't dreaming. Not only that, his hair rules. I want to style mine like that. First Pods, now Blum. 1st RBI in like 8 weeks. Last one was against Texas. I'm calling it. Tonight. Ozuna goes yard. Book it.
