Ive heard Twins fans say Cliff Lee only didnt start because he hates the Twins. Apparently he got mad at Gomez or someone for bunting against him earlier this season.

If all we cared about was defense and a good arm, doesnt Francisco Hernandez fit that billing. He definitely isnt ready hitting wise, but honestly how often has Toby contributed to the offense these past 2 seasons.

I honestly dont think any of the QB's entering the draft next season will be any good, I think Bradford could be a mediocre starter but I wouldnt want to spend a top pick on him. Tebow seems similar to Vince Young, who has not been good in the NFL at all, despite his teams success.

I really think Dye needs to move to DH. That will hopefully keep him fresh for a full season and overall help our defense. The downside of this is even though I like him, Thome needs to go. He obviously has an option so would be a trade. Obviously if we cant get anything of any value for Thome just going to have to keep him. Besides that I think OC needs to go because of money/draftpicks and Im sick of Vazquez.

Personally with how AJ has stunk this last month or so seemingly and Javy, Ive had enough of them both. After this season unless he becomes some kind of post-season hero I never want to see Javy pitch on the southside again though, thats one thing im sure about.

I find it hard to believe that Lee would pitch solely based on the impact it will have on teams outside of his own. If his neck feels better, than yeah go right ahead but if your not comfortable being out there and it doesnt impact your team.... just seems dumb to me. If it comes down to final game and we lose playoffs because Cliff Lee started, I'll forever hate the Indians thats for sure.

His overall numbers are not good at all really, but this whole season he has seemingly been a giant thorn in our sides. All I know, 4 guys I'd love to watch everyday would be Span, Gomez, Mauer, and Morneau.....the only guys I can say that about on the whitesox have been Quentin and Cuban Missile. I do know Delmon Young would probably frustrate the hell out of me.

He looked good in pre-season, was overthrown like 2-3 times on what would have been big plays. Nobody besides Lloyd has stepped up to be a WR on this team, why do we cut a guy who hasnt had a chance.

Regardless of what happens, I really hope we find a way to replace Vazquez next season. I know there is like a 95% chance he comes back next season especially since we have 1 hole in the rotation already, but I cant stand the guy.

Yeah in college sports not really a fan of booing your own team. Unless the kid is obviously giving a half ass effort or just comes off as a total ass(Ryan Leaf, Cade McNown, etc.) its not needed.

I do think the Bills could win that division, but not sure about the AFC Championship game. The one thing that is in their favor is how lackluster the Patriots/Colts look.

Vazquez and Buehrle are 2 of the best pitchers in the league in keeping baserunners from stealing so not worried. Id say the most important thing is to not leave runners stranded in scoring position when we are hitting.

Unless whitesox shape up this last week and hopefully get a boost from Quentins return for playoffs, we arent going to be playing in October very long anyways. Although, I hope we do play the Rays because we should have won a lot of the games that we lost vs them. Their ace usually can go only 5 innings and I think we can put some runs up vs Shields and the rest.

I really hope assuming we make playoffs Ozzie puts in Richard as the 2nd lefty over Ramirez.... with the emergence of Macdougal and I think Richard will be great in pen, our playoff bp might be one of the strengths.

Preferably I dont care for either very much, although think Richard would be great in a bullpen role. But as far as matchups go and who gives us the better chance to win, you have to give the ball to Richard over Broadway. My hope is we go on a surge and twins keep sinking that we dont even have to shorten the rotation for the end of the season. Keeping our starters fresh for the post-season.

While Uribe has filled in nicely and has been a nice surprise in taking over the 3B position I definitely dont want him to be starting for us in any position next season. Fields has seemingly been hurt whole season so its hard to judge him, but many people seemingly think he isnt going to hack it. Im on the Beltre train

Yeah if Palmer is available I think the Bears have to trade for him, I dont think really we have had a QB of his calibur ever.
