If the Brewers somehow land Halladay I dont know how they arent instantly the favorite to reach the world series if not win it. They would have the best trio since Maddux, Glavine, and Smoltz.

Hopefully now that we are done with the Rangers we can go back to pitching and possibly playing defense as well.

I know Ozzie loves the lefty/lefty matchup and everything.... but Ive always been a big fan of letting a guy finish an inning assuming he is doing a good job. Maybe the exception being a stud lefty or something but thats not Ross Gload.

Def. just buy a new tv, if you can afford it get the 750 series of Samsung which are incredible but anything from samsung/sharp/sony will be a big upgrade from a hitachi.

i still dont fully understand the ozuna being released, we have a 12 man bullpen and we are the least used bullpen in majors or close to it... also with jenks possibly going on DL just makes 0 sense

If KW can find a way to do it im all for it. Tex would be an upgrade this year and than will set us up better for the future too if we make the commitment to resign him.

Definitely think the Cubs got the better deal in this trade as Gaudin is pretty solid himself. Im a little upset Gallagher was traded because from watching a few games seemedlike he had great potential and would have been a fun guy to watch since he doesnt grab his nuts all the time like that other Cubs pitcher. If Harden/Zambrano are healthy when playoffs roll around thats a pretty nasty combo id take over the Webb/Haren one.

In all honesty the Sony and Samsung are just about identical... samsung even makes some of the sony lcd panels, the difference is samsung is cheaper. Although Sharp is starting to get up there in quality I think maybe even surpassing samsung if not now in near future.

Ive heard from a few 76ers fans that Iggy might be let go next season because his contract demands will be more than what the Sixers will want to pay for him. If we clear some cap, Hughes/Gordon/Hinrich for next year I would kill to add Iggy, much more realistic than the hope of getting Lebron/Wade/Carmelo in 2010. With Sefalosha coming off the bench and I think Tyrus becoming an impact player, that would make the Bulls a young great team for quite awhile....

At this point, I would much rather keep DJ over Hawk. A few years ago I would have never said that but right now I would be seriously pissed if we lost DJ....

Was at the game, upper deck in 510 section it was pretty awesome. For most of the time the cub and sox fans had fun with each other towards the end it got a little rowdy though. Security started taking a chunk of people out towards the end, almost all Cubs fans even though both sides were on the wrong.

the Timberwolves seem to have a glut of SG's now with McCants, Foye, and Mike Miller. If Paxson wanted to completely rebuild this team... in which i see a future without Ben Gordon, Kirk Hinrich, and eventually Larry Hughes. Maybe we can pry one of McCants or Foye from the Timberwolves?

I remember some lady doing this awhile back, think she was a real estate agent too, although she wasnt nearly as good looking...
