Why should I spend money to save his house when there are thousands of other people who lose their house and never got all the money he did as a child.

no... the Fields to LF is because he is a good athlete and has the speed to play the OF. Also since he isnt a great 3B which would make even more since for him to move to LF. And Pods is not exactly a great outfielder and b4 him Carlos Lee wasnt either. For LF you dont need to be great at the position. Also Dye only has one more year on his contract after this season so he isnt a long-term answer.

I still love this trade... Riske is great out of the bullpen and now it seems the pen as a whole is starting to fall together. B-Mac seems to have things figured out in the pen, Cotts while not as dominant as last season is still getting the job done, Jenks has been awesome..... Even Thornton has looked better as of late. If Politte comes back and can just be avg. than we got ourselves a damn good bp.

some posters develop patterns.... in redandwhite case he is a homer.... now thats not a bad thing... im a homer too and most posters on this site are also homers. But when you come into another team's site being a homer of a team that isnt very well liked overall conflict arrises. Also there are some posters that just deserve to be picked on....

Im not saying he is going to be Jim Thome or Adam Dunn... I said dont condemn a guy for striking out a lot when some of the best hitters in the big leagues strike out a ton. Im not saying Fields is going to be a MVP but he is ready for the bigs or close to it. Definitely by next season.

I think its basicly perfect timing for him to do it too.... if it was in Sept. and they were in a pennant race im sure he would play through it but in interleague where he cant start anyways why not give him a rest. He has actually been in the lineup for a majority of the games... probably already has more ab's than a lot of people would of guessed he would for the entire season.
