I think next season assuming we dont replace our middle infield it will be Iguchi Uribe leading off for us. Hopefully in the far future it can be Getz and Valido but dont know about that.

Ive always been a big DJ fan but Hawk is starting to get to me. Which is strange because I always loved Hawk but this season he is starting to get on my nerves. I hope he doesnt stick around long enough where he becomes what Johnny Red Kerr or whatevr is to the Bulls.

Does this team really even need to make a move at the trading deadline? We got the bullpen arm we need in David Riske and our bullpen as a whole has been great as of late. We got all the SP we need and even if one of the 5 goes down we have a backup starter. Our offense has been great the whole season a lot better than last season. And our bench has been great as well. Brian Anderson has struggled at the plate but he cant get worse really and Ozzie has said he is our CF and Anderson's defense has been great. Also while Pods struggled Pablo has shown he is fully capable of filling in.

well I wouldnt be surprised if we get a new leadoff hitter out of the SS position. Uribe has been hitting lately but still close to .200 and while he made some great plays yesterday overall his defense hasnt been as good.

I dont know how many times Wade got the sissiest foul calls on him while Dirk and Terry were super harrassed and didnt get the same calls. That being said I dont really care who wins but it would be nice if the refs would call the game the same for both teams rather give Wade special treatment.

yeah this should be a fun series.... I know the offense has still done well w/out Pujols but thank god he isnt there because I dont feel like seeing our pitchers get owned. Also I hope they do callup Reyes because he seems like an exciting good young talent and deserves a shot in the bigs. I say we should be happy with 2 out of 3 although we could easily walk away with 1 or none. oh and anyone know a good Cards messageboard besides the mlb/espn ones.... I want to know how they feel about the series and everything.

I like the leagues being different....There are a lot of people who like NL style and a lot who like AL style... why shutout half the fanbase by making 1 dominant style across the league.

I dont know.... the 2B or SS whichever it was did nothing wrong that game it was Torri who ran over Burke. So I still fail to see how sliding hard into one of the middle infielders and possibly injuring them would of done any good. If you want to get back at the twins hit the culprit which was Torri Hunter. The only time another player of a team should take the revenge or whatevr you want to call it is if like in Texas its the pitcher which we dont face is the one doing the damage.
