  1. Curry's assist numbers are pretty ridiculous. His PG skills left a little to be desired in the only game I've seen him this year, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a team take a chance on him in a weak draft.
  2. Patterson's problem is that he plays on a team with complately inept PG play and they struggle to get the ball in his hands. He'll be fine otherwise.
  3. Man, why did The Road get delayed? I really wanted to see it. Also, 13 years later, there is finally a preview of Avatar coming soon.
  4. QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ Nov 23, 2008 -> 07:25 PM) " A white man gets a rifle and shoots deer, that's a sport. A black man fights dogs and that's a crime"-- Cris Rock. That comment was meant as a joke, but seriously, isn't hunting just as bad??? I guess torture would be worse but they are still just animals. The difference of hunting for sport(perfectly acceptable and not even thought about) and dog fighting(severe jail time and pretty much ruin your life) really is extreme though.
  5. QUOTE (SoxFan101 @ Nov 23, 2008 -> 11:27 PM) If Legion comes in and fits well with the rest of the team, we can be talking about an NCAA berth You know you're in good shape when you have to seriously consider who you will bench for Legion. Mike Davis is just an absolute freak. He'll be their star for the next 3 years even when their top guys come in.
  6. He has the type of game that is going to take advantage of lesser opponents moreso than most. Let's see him play some decent competition before crowning him.
  7. I think I'm going to go buy Fallout 3 today, hate be damned. My selection isn't actually large here, there is nothing out for Wii and my PS3 is out until Christmas. That leaves me with PC.
  8. Matt Sarz should get a Nobel Prize for keeping that site updated year in and year out. Truly a life saver.
  9. QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Nov 22, 2008 -> 03:41 AM) Resistance 2 is fun and I love it way more than the original. I would give you my copy to borrow BearSox if my PS3 didn't brick today. So yes, as a gamer it has been such a terrible day. Wake up to find my brother trying to turn on the triple to only see it just blink and turn off. I check for myself and I get the street lights of death as I like to call it. Turn it on so it flashes green, then yellow three times and then red while beeping and while doing all these things, never turns on. I can't even eject Resistance 2 which was in there and it's going to cost $150 to get it fixed since it was a launch 60GB with a warranty that ran out. Add to the fact that my brother bought me Fallout 3 and I got invited to the Home Beta today as well, I've been mad. Oh and I had the Incredible Hulk delievered in Blu Ray as well. It's a damn shame. SMH.[/rant] I'm not sure it'll work for you since yours is a total brick, but me and Jenks both got our out of warranty 60GB PS3 for free using the GTA4 excuse.
  10. QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 21, 2008 -> 05:25 PM) Edwin Jackson, anyone? For whatever reason, I would be surprised if he were not part of the deal... Hopefully he would be no more than a throw in.
  11. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Nov 21, 2008 -> 05:16 AM) No conference can get 3 teams in the BCS, it's an official rule. Yes they can with 2 teams in the title game. Here is the scenario: 1.) Oklahoma beats Tech this weekend 2.) All three Big 12 one-loss teams win in the final weekend (assuming they're playing) 3.) Missouri beats whomever they face in the Big 12 Championship. 4.) Alabama or Florida or both lose to Auburn or Florida St. respectively in the last week of the season. 5.) The team that lost in the last week of the season - Alabama or Florida - beats the the other team in the SEC championship. 6.) USC's loss to Oregon St. stays fresh in voter's minds.
  12. Man the Pac-Ten is going to be bad. Great win for Michigan too.
  13. On another note the Pac Ten looks to find a way to be worse at basketball than they are at football. USC falls to Seton Hall.
  14. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Nov 21, 2008 -> 01:57 AM) Vandy has only forced 5 turnovers and their 3 point defense has been non-existant. However, they are still only down 1 and still at home so I'd expect the Commodores will pull it out. Hope I am wrong though! Either way this team has made some gigantic strides since last year.
  15. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Nov 20, 2008 -> 10:49 PM) I'm pretty sure that Big Ten Network only has the rights to games played in Big Ten stadiums. Yep, and that's a major problem. When ESPN didn't hate them at least we got the ESPN+ local broadcast. In other words there was never a missed game.
  16. Assuming you're normal and don't have FSNSouth, ESPN Full Court, or SECTV, it won't be. It'll be on ESPN360 too but I assume you don't get that either. Have I mentioned that the BTN sucks?
  17. Huge, huge, huge get for ISU. Colvin will be a Cyclone.
  18. He has a career .773 OPS.
  19. QUOTE (santo=dorf @ Nov 17, 2008 -> 10:07 PM) I am getting so sick of the "it opened up a spot for Floyd or Danks" comment about Garland. That's completely hindsight Well, duh. Just like all trades, their effects should be analyzed with hindsight. QUOTE (santo=dorf @ Nov 17, 2008 -> 10:07 PM) Couldn't I say the trade of Garland allowed us to suffer from Javy all season long, Well, no, considering Garland being here or not more than likely did not affect what we had in Vazquez. Let's be the least bit logical here. If Garland was here, I think we can all agree that Danks or Floyd likely wasn't given a spot. QUOTE (santo=dorf @ Nov 17, 2008 -> 10:07 PM) or that we could've had someone step in Contreras' spot and not force our guys to go on short rest for so long (could possibly effect them for next season.) Feel free to complain about that. In fact, many people have. But again, let's be a little logical. The positives of having Danks/Floyd in there all season still well outweighs not having one of them in there for the majority of the season. That I think everyone could agre on.
  20. QUOTE (Jeremy @ Nov 17, 2008 -> 09:55 AM) Really? People think of Everett as a crucial part of that team? I forget he was even on it. I'd say there's no way he was one of the dozen most important players on the team. He was probably the worst regular on the team. That year was one of the highlights of my life but I sometimes resent the fact that every single player on the team is now beloved. I am utterly and completely mystified how in the blue hell that you could possibly forget our regular season #3 hitter was even on the team. Ridiculous.
