  1. AJ was on the broadcast all of last weekend.
  2. Schriffen and Plesac are a lot of fun together so I hope its them. That said, didn't Stone sign a multi-year deal this past offseason? Doubt its his last. Edit: he did. Stone aint going anywhere. From last game of last year: "Stone and John Schriffen, his play-by-play broadcast partner, announced Stone’s multiyear contract extension at the start of the second inning during a 7-0 White Sox victory"
  3. We have no meaningful close outfield prospects and if we do need a spot, well, hopefully there are two other spots to draw from (and a dh spot for that matter). At 3-4ish million, he can help provide some line-up protection (no matter how minor) and leadership to the actual meaningful prospects thats worth more than a low A wildcard. Good to bring up Rojas because that is the usual value youll get at that same price. If they can get something decent, then yeah, deal him though.
  4. Depends on the return. If its just random low A wildcard, you can get that a year from now and you keep him.
  5. Royals called up Devanney July 8th to make his ML debut. He promptly never appeared in a game. Now traded lol.
  6. Benetti signed to work 120 games. Schriffen will probably work 150 or so. Not the same at all.
  7. Robertson was already with the team. He was getting called up regardless though Elko IL made the for what part easy.
  8. Is Colson hurt? Why did he get take out?
  9. Well I hope it's Chase or prepare to see Rojas bunt.
  10. The funniest part of thay is they Robert couldn't take the free steal to 2nd because Rojas was on deck.
  11. Rojas needs to absolutely get cut after that. I mean he should have been before too.
  12. I dont think so after 4 ABs. Was likely one of the pitchers after a BP day.
  13. Nice job by Elko to almost make that play and then actually make the play. Vaughn wouldn't have moved.
  14. Those have to be his major league stats. Future Sox podcast today was talking about how he's still murdering the ball as much as ever. Edit: yeah BR has him at 1.500 OPS in the last week and .946 OPS last month. Still sitting at a 35% k rate over the last month though so that hasn't changed.
  15. Agreed on Tauchman. He has control left so you keep him unless you get a legit prospect for him. I doubt that happens though so id lean towards keep. You can always trade him for nothing next year. Taylor is a free agent so he should go for whatever.
  16. Congrats to him. Probably would have gone with Houser but theres something to be said about being here all year.
