  1. Their 1-2-3 are very good. Other than that: :puke
  2. QUOTE(easyw @ Dec 23, 2005 -> 04:40 AM) I hope they never go. The Sox are the anti-Bush team. They beat the LA Angeles in the ALCS. The Angels are the team of Orange County, a notable hot bed of right wing extremism. Then, in the World Series, they beat the Houston Astros, the team that represents big Texas oil money and corporate crooks (like Enron). To drive home this point, one of the biggest bastards of them all was in the stands rooting the stros on - Bush Sr! The Sox represent the old school Democratic Chicago political machine! Its funny that Ozzie and the trophy visited Chavez before Bush.. that must really burn Bush up, really get under his skin. VIVA CHAVEZ! VIVA LA REVOLUITION!!! ...... No comment.
  3. 91 million is what I have been hearing.
  4. Although his myspace is no longer up, I was looking at his friends pages and he did hint at a suicide. I no longer have access to the exact phrase, but he left a comment on his friends page that said "I will no longer be talking to anyone". It was along those lines, and posted on December 21st, yesterday. I know most would of just passed in off as a meaningless, bizzarre comment, but I guess something could of been done.
  5. Why sign a roid monkey?
  6. Wonder if they will let Count and El Duque in? Sadly, that probaly should not be in green.
  7. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Dec 22, 2005 -> 05:55 PM) Tony Dungy is one of the finest men in sports and you just know his family mirrors his class and dignity. Horribly sad news His son obviously had no class: "Heroes: the D.C. Snipers, cause they let ya'll crackas kno tha ya'll aren't carzy race in the world" That is off is website. Not that class makes you deserve death any more/less.
  8. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Dec 22, 2005 -> 05:08 PM) Not necessarily true. He signed a minor league contract so he'll be in AAA unless he show's us something in ST. And if he shows us something in ST, he must have improved something. See: Pablo Ozuna Kevin Walker and Tom Gordon had similiar deals though, no? I believe Walker even started in AAA, was eventually brought up and consistently s*** the bed. Ozzie even decided to use him in a close game vs. the Angels. I think we all remember that night.
  9. According to his myspace, he was on atleast some sort of drugs, so Rock wasn't totally out of line. What that has to do with his suicide is another story. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...iendID=41899442
  10. Jeez, why the hell would they offer that kind of money to Brett Tomko?
  11. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Dec 22, 2005 -> 03:49 PM) Low risk, high reward. Love these signings. I know everyone SHOULD love these, but this is the White Sox here. Even if he does suck beyond belief, Ozzie and KW will still have him on the roster at one point and use him in at least 1 critical situation.
  12. If we got him, which we won't, that would mean the end of my other favorite Sox player, mr. Chris Widger.
  13. I ever mention how much I hate Boston?
  14. OMG

  15. QUOTE(CubsSuck1 @ Dec 20, 2005 -> 07:06 PM) To Willie who scored the winning run in game 4 of the WS. Although he disappointed, Singleton hasn't been doing much better I believe. Sure Willie didn't pan out, but we still won tha trade.
  16. QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Dec 19, 2005 -> 06:31 PM) doesn't look that bad, but no MVP. It's actually way better than MVP, since that doesn't exist anymore.
  17. QUOTE(Felix @ Dec 16, 2005 -> 02:17 AM) Meanwhile, while proving Rowand44's point for him...
  18. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Dec 15, 2005 -> 04:34 AM) So you want Timo Perez/Harris/Blum as our options off the bench and no macowiak Everett is our DH instead of Thome Konerko is an Angel because he has no protection. Everett is moved to RF and our OF defense is slower. Gload is the first baseman Marte is still in the pen. El Duque is pitching in the rotation. 2 or more DL spots for him Garland and the Count are in the last year of their contract. So if we lose both, Felix Diaz and Arnie Munoz are in the rotation the following year. Okay stop. I like the part where KW made changes, made the offense better, protected the core of the team which is the pitching for the next few years, and did this while getting rid of people that could be replaced. Owned.
  19. Before I read through 6 pages of this, the 1st post was a joke, right? RIGHT?
  20. QUOTE(timotime @ Dec 15, 2005 -> 12:58 AM) well at this point we would be essentially cleaning house after a world series championship. you want to do that? If it for the good, why not?
  21. QUOTE(timotime @ Dec 15, 2005 -> 12:52 AM) see the playoffs this last season. lest we forget. Yes, let's just unnecessarily reward players for what they have done in the past. That will get us far.
