  3. Hopefully Joe can get on another team somewhere (preferably National League.)
  4. Great win. Hermanson didn't pitch many pitches which is a good thing. 6 in a row now. Let's go for 7 tomorrow!!
  5. Now the Rangers are ahead 10-7 in the top of the 9th. Mark Teixeira hit his 100th career home run.
  6. The Rangers just tied the Twins 7-7 if anyone cares.
  7. 5 of our starters are averaging .280 or better if you count Ozuna. While we don't have a .300 hitter, at least we have half of our lineup with pretty good averages.
  8. QUOTE(the People's Champ @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 09:37 PM) It's fun to stay at the.....Y-M-C-A................. YAY I didn't walk the batter.
  9. That would be cool to see Frank be a future hitting coach, but for some reason I just don't see it happening.
  10. Didn't come back today, he'll be here soon enough though.
  11. I hadn't realized it'd been 7 years since he did a movie.
  12. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 09:34 PM) Marte's ERA has to be one of the most overrated stats in baseball. haha yeah
  13. Doesn't it seem like Marte should have a 5+ ERA. He always walks somebody and it seems like he given up more runs than he has.
  14. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 08:43 PM) Were this an actual team, they would have to forfeit the game. Most of the player are on the DL haha true.
  15. I sure hopes he gets fine and can close, he deserves it.
  16. Cotts' ERA is at 1.87, that's amazing compared to last year. What a turnaround.
  17. I wish I was there, then I'd be helping the cause.
  18. just got home. wow another home run for Uribe, he's on a tear. Keep it up.
  19. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 05:11 PM) Hard to be washed up when the only thing you've ever accomplished in your career is one great game and one very good year. Yeah, In order to be on that list you would've had to be great at once. Kerry Wood wasn't even close to that.
  20. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 07:00 PM) I think Cleveland has the easiest schedule in the WC chase and the Angels are my pick to win the west. I think the Yankees are going to win the east in the last series of the year, the Red Sox returning to their passion for choking and giving their entire pathetic nation reason to once again celebrate their culture of losing. Gee, I hope we see another one of those exciting HBO docs with that hunky ben affleck... :puke I'm going for the Yankees to win the East, I'd rather play the Red Sox than the Yankees in the post season.
  21. Come one Juan, keep the hot streak going against KC.
  22. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 01:10 PM) I would like to see what he can do as well. Either that, or just make him carry all the gear. At least get a little return on your investment. lol that could work too. Or turn him into the batboy.
  23. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 01:01 PM) Colon's status for his start on saturday is still being referred to as "Uncertain" due to back trouble. I can understand why, he's carrying the team. He's a big reason they're winning the division right now.
  24. I know Juan Gone has only had 1 at bat in the past year and has hardly played in the past few years, but he's making 600,000. That isn't a lot of money in baseball terms, but yes he is washed up.
