Two really good pitching matchups today for anyone who's gonna be watching baseball. Sabathia vs. Santana, with the Indians trying to go 5-0 against Johan. Also Oswalt vs. Sheets in the NL. And not a great matchup like the others, but something I want to watch is Loaiza vs. Zambrano.

It will be interesting to see if Davies can develop into a reliable 4th/5th starter for the Royals.

I've found that beer snobs are the best kind of snobs because they don't just want to ridicule you for lack of knowledge but want to introduce you to as much as possible and help you learn.

The offensive gap between your average 3B and corner OF is decreasing, something like ~15 OPS points. It's not like he's going from catcher to first base.
