  1. SUre but we got the Sheets double on Joc's misread and not great infield D either from the Giants.
  2. Probably needed him more yesterday with the 1 run game. Graveman is one of those guys who doesn't seem to like appearances in consecutive games too often. TLR with take his chances with a 3 run lead depending on what the Sox do on offense now.
  3. Gallo is such a bad hitter his defense can't even get him into positive WAR territory. I wanted him a couple years ago but not now. Gallo is a free agent next year. I wouldn't give up anything for him.
  4. I just think if you're going to make trades you don't necessarily have to trade Pollack for a LH LF. They do have multiple ways of getting something LH in the OF.
  5. They have to cover 4 innings. Who should be brought in and when ? There's a lot of lefties in the Giants lineup you know.
  6. Yea I'm not trying to be rude or anything but when people say those things they have to ask those questions 1st and then you might realize how few guys actually do what he wants Dylan to do.
  7. Ok let's see how the BP fares today and if the Sox can keep adding on runs.
  8. Please tell me who these quality starter who consistent go 7 innings are ? How many do you actually think there are ? And how often is consistently, 1/3 of all starts or more ?
  9. Probably some kind of innings management. They've kept him healthy thus far.
  10. The catcher is not permitted to block the runner's path to the plate unless he is in possession of the ball, though blocking the path of the runner in a legitimate attempt to receive a throw is not considered a violation. The runner can be ruled safe if the umpire determines the catcher violated this rule.
  11. That was not up to Sheets most likely. If the coach says go on contact you go. If he gets too far down the line he's vulnerable to getting picked off on a ball. I don't think too many guys with Sheets speed are going to score on that.
  12. Ok confirmed that you are the delusional one if you don't think this team as currently constructed isn't seriously flawed.
  13. I asked for your plan not what you think you know about the Sox. I guess you must agree with that.
  14. The off season was months ago and if teaching guys to lay off sliders was easy there wouldnt be a pitch called the slider. Please don't pretend being a hitter is easy.
  15. So you have no plan for the future of this .500 team since all you did was talk about who Eloy can hit better than and said nothing about the terrible fielding or Eloy the DH like all the other DH's the Sox have. Nor did you address why he's not worth anything unless he actually ever plays.Thank you. Cueto is as good as gone if the Sox are still doing what they are doing now at the trade deadline and if he goes so will others.
  16. Webb looks great. Slider sinker change. He's throwing strikes and getting weak contact. He's a very good pitcher.
  17. How is Eloy the groundball machine and a terrible fielder when he is healthy ,which is never, an upgrade over anyone. Perhaps you don't realize Cueto is gone after this year and Lynn will be 36 and he's been injured much of the year. I think you may be delusional about Eloy and the state of the starting Rotation, the massive amount of DH's the Sox have , our terrible defense and the current payroll constraints the Sox are facing. Maybe you need to explain your vision of the future.
