  1. Yolmer says. See what I can do when I don't have to bunt.
  2. Would it be terrible if I thought the Dash outfield could do better than Engel and Thompson ?
  3. I know the obvious answer. It's just a slower process when you have trouble bringing your good stuff from start to start. He's not a big guy and I'd prefer the Sox tread lightly and keep his arm fresher. Right now I'd think they just need to concentrate on keeping an eye on his innings for the season rather than pushing the limits on individual starts. If he pitches north of 175 inning this year that's enough for me. Going nine is a thing of the past except on rare occasions now.
  4. Good game. Don;t really understand those who were pushing for Reylo to go longer. Doesn't he have a problem bringing his good stuff from start to start ? You notice his last start was shorter so maybe that's why his stuff was extra crispy today. Let's see how his stuff plays next start after going 8 today. No need to tax his arm / Maybe 95-100 pitch max should be it for now.
  5. Easy does it. It's only 7 innings. & great innings but still ,SS . Nice win. Abreu 10 game hitting streak.
  6. This and if Kopech repeats what he did last year with a bad month of starts 26 is way too high for the O/U. Hope I'm wrong .
  7. First thing I i thought when I saw the Rodon picture in the thread was Jake Burger . He looks heavy.
  8. Going after the elusive 2 game winning streak.
  9. Don't think there would be a lot of happy campers here if the Sox drafted SInger 4th especially after reading that article from earlier in the thread about HS RHP prospects taken early.
  10. What what page of the thread did the 8th inning start ? I should avoid reading the thread until then
  11. Predicting the Sox are 28 games below .500 by 6/20
  12. Do you go out of your way to find negative things ? I mean look at that comment of yours . It reads like a friend of a friend said that a friend of a friend said this while just a few comments ago Fegan's twitter said Collins has greatly improved his ability to stick strikes on the corners
  13. Reliever last year @ Great Falls but starting pitcher this year in Kannapolis. I think the Sox are starting a new phase with later draft picks that might target relief pitchers who they hink they can convert into starters. Look for how many relief pitchers the Sox take maybe starting in rd. 15 or so.
  14. I often wonder why anyone who posts doesn't check that their info is correct. I know it's just a post and writers aren't professionals but it isn't hard to go to the stats section of any of our minor league teams.
  15. We have to remember Madrigal missed half the season this year. But just a few days ago he was up .470 ( that's batting average not OBP or SLG) in 23 games this year.
  16. Your browser does not support iframes.
  17. Sox would/should be thrilled to get Madrigal . He checks off a lot of boxes.
  18. That's OK I keep bringing up RA Dickey.
  19. Still not expecting any 2 out miracles.
  20. He literally left off being injured so I hope he picks up at right before he left off
  21. The approach is way more important than power at this stage of his development.Same can be said of Rutherford and I am genuinely amazed so many treat minor league players as if they are finished products. Sheets seems like a throw back type who knows striking out doesn't accomplish anything.
