QUOTE (Rex Kicka** @ Dec 22, 2011 -> 07:04 PM) Over one out of four gay people still vote Republican. http://www.advocate.com/News/Daily_News/20...m+Daily+News%29 But not in Minnesota! http://blogs.citypages.com/blotter/2011/12...el_brodkorb.php

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 22, 2011 -> 06:25 PM) So if this were a right wing organization trying to conduct foreign policy on behalf of the government, you'd be OK with that too? The idea that seemingly anyone who wants to of the 43 other Presidents this country has ever hadcan represent the US is kind of not that scary. I also feel that it if it is on behalf of Obama, we should know that Fixed.

QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 22, 2011 -> 01:26 PM) Jenks, You have a very proud family with nuclear weapons that, clearly, by nature of how they run their country, are completely irrational. If that is the case, and you want them to stop being so insular and stupid, why on earth would you insult their leader during mourning? You aren't talking to your friends, or your coworkers, you are talking to crazy people with atomic weapons. I agree with this, but I also think it's important that we haven't (at least in this thread) seen what Carter's letter actually said; we've only seen what the North Korean Propaganda Machine said the letter said.

QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Dec 21, 2011 -> 03:01 PM) I think the Maya's calendar guy just got tired of carving and didn't keep going. This has been my favorite theory for a while. My actual thought is, well, if everyone's dying, then it's not TOO bad. Sure, it kinda sucks, but you're not missing out on anything.

QUOTE (danman31 @ Dec 20, 2011 -> 12:23 AM) It was at the Sprint Center in KC. Oh ok. I just saw Kansas listed as "home" on the bottom line and figured it was in Lawrence. -

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 19, 2011 -> 08:24 PM) Yeah it's on espn3.com I'm assuming ya'll know this, but in case anyone doesn't, if you have a 360 with Xbox Live (Gold), you can get ESPN 3 through that (for free, if you already have Gold). Much nicer than watching on the computer, at least to me. -

IU was hitting everything tonight, in large part because Howard apparently decided not to cover the 3. That off-balance, one handed (with his LEFT hand) three Hulls made as the shot clock was ridiculous(ly lucky). It was that sort of night. -
QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 19, 2011 -> 06:16 PM) This is important: http://s3-ec.buzzfed.com/static/imagebuzz/...277130529-1.jpg As long as it's Barq's.

QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Dec 16, 2011 -> 10:01 AM) I like a lot of those, although I've never even heard of 7 or 5, and haven't listened to any of 6. I'd add: Foo Fighters - Wasting Light The Black Keys - El Camino Agreed times infinity. I didn't realize Manchester Orchestra released another album, I'll have to check it out.

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Dec 18, 2011 -> 11:27 PM) Leaving for NYC on Xmas, but have to get packed now. I set my clothes outside my room so that I had some room in my bedroom. Glad my roommate could come back and smoke weed so all my s*** reeks smells good now. Fixed.

QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 18, 2011 -> 08:24 AM) Has nothing to do with Warren. even though they are a top 5 team in the state this year. Actually saw GBN play Waukegan earlier this year and noticed no crying and was surprised. Not too mention some of the fans at the games and their sense of entitlement is hilarious. GBN isn't the only programin the state like that, I am sure. And with the amount of talent GBN has had the last 20 years, to only win 1 state title is nothing to brag about. Woohoo, for once someone is berating a high school for its sense of entitlement and it's not the one I went to! -
QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Dec 17, 2011 -> 09:14 AM) Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for and no religion too Lennon had it wrong. We'd still killing over which Atheist organization has the better name.

QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 18, 2011 -> 09:25 PM) Oh boy. That opens up a huge can of worms. His son isn't half of what he was in power or respect. That's what I've read as well. Also, what's up with that family looking goofy.

This IU-ND game hasn't been ugly so much as boring. -
Thanks!

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Dec 14, 2011 -> 09:43 PM) Mean Girls Lohan was at her peak. I was just thinking the same thing. And if she was only 17 at the time...well, I was 15 or 16 at the time, so that's gotta be legal somehow.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 14, 2011 -> 10:17 PM) Kaner shoot out goal, wow That was flat out ridiculous.

The more I think about the Boardwalk finale, the more I like it. The thing I liked least about this season (until the finale) was that it seemed like Nucky was becoming less of an important character, and he's way too vital to the show for that. This brings him back, and I think the show will be better for it.
-
Sebso's rap was brilliant. Count me as one of the people really surprised by the season finale. I was confused as to where they were going to go, but that didn't even cross my mind.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 12, 2011 -> 10:37 AM) That 3 was exactly what I would have called for as well. It was a thing of beauty. They probably will get beat up a bit in conference play, but with that said, they have enough of a home court advantage and a budding superstar to do some damage along the way. With the talent they bring in next year they will be very dangerous. The Big Ten is really looking tough moving forward. This. What I like the most is that there's no one game (except for possibly at Ohio St) you can look at and say "IU has no chance." That's not saying IU will go undefeated (ha!), I just mean you can't look at the schedule and pick out several games they'll lose for sure, which has been the case the past few years. We'll be competitive, which is leaps and bounds better than it has been. -
Bills suck. And not just the Buffalo kind.
