IU finally remembered how to shoot with about 14 minutes left in the game. Really impressed with their defense again (and Butler's too, at times). Zeller was quiet early, but once he started asserting himself he played well. Sheehey played really well all game, and Watford was a non-factor. There were more bodies on the floor than any game I've ever seen, though.

Hey, MVC people: How good is Evansville? IU plays them tomorrow night at the Ford Center (brand new arena). I'm assuming they'll be better than Stony Brook and Chattanooga, but not sure how much better.

IU plays Chattanooga at 4. I think they're worse than Stony Brook, so I'm hpping for a better all around performance, though they played well on Friday. I do want to see better 3-point defense, and more assertiveness from Oladipo in taking open shots from the outside if it's there, though.

Solid first game for IU, even if it was against Stony Brook (though, they are expected to be a tournament team, so they're tougher than most of the guarantee games).

Oh Joe Walsh, you continue to be a source of entertainment (except, of course, to your kids). Admittedly, the video starts sort of abruptly, so it's impossible to tell if the guy asking the questions was being disrespectful/rude/instigative (is that last one even a word?) before the clip starts, but Walsh's behavior during the video isn't exactly exemplary..
