He's been worth the money so far but we'd be foolish to extend him after his deal completes. He doesn't seem like the type who will age particularly well . He's an average right-fielder with power numbers boosted by this park. That said, he's getting average money and has been a fine fit for us so far but he's not someone who should block Ryan Sweeney whenever he's ready.

If I recall Arroyo forgot how to play before getting to Detroit. Memory serves me that he was awesome for his country in the Olympics being the man and changed his game in Utah and got in Sloan's doghouse and thus traded. Most thought being a 6th man would change his personality but it did not apparently -

Darko could join the likes of T-Mac and J-O'Neal who have success as a HS on their second team. Plus with expectations and whatnot with that great draft class its just not ever going to happen for him there. I can't believe Starbury and the Franchise could be in the same backcourt. Let alone the two of them with Jamal Crawford. Will a frontcourt player shoot the ball in the second half of the season for the Knicks? -
Anna is much hotter to me although Maria has more marketing possibilities. She's a babe and all but if she weren't an athlete she'd be not much to look at. Anna K to me also used the athlete angle to upgrade her looks but she stands more on her own to me.

Bagwell's shoulder stronger than it was?
Punch and Judy Garland replied to sayitaintso's topic in The Diamond Club
Actually it stands to reason that Bagwells whoulder is stronger than its been in four years when you think of the pain and agony its been in for that time. I don't knowhow much he has left but I think this is more about money than Houston actually thinking Jeff can't play anymore -
T.O. to the Bears?
Punch and Judy Garland replied to CluelessJoe1919's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
QUOTE(CluelessJoe1919 @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 08:29 PM) I don't know the design of Muse's contract...Is a lot of his money backloaded? Did he get a tremendous signing bonus? If most of his money is in salary, by all means, you have to dump him now since the salary end of the contract does not count againt the cap if the guy is cut. I thought Moose got a 10.5 million dollar or thereabouts in bonus money If Muhammed has a good QB he showed a year ago what he can do with Delhomme. I think adding a good number two wideout and perhaps a TE through the draft will lead to an increase in numbers for Moose. His numbers won't be too great because this is the Bears but he just needs to work on the drops which were surprising -
T.O. to the Bears?
Punch and Judy Garland replied to CluelessJoe1919's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
The Bears should forget Randle El and sign Antonio Bryant. He'd be a nice addition for a tema needing a playmaking number two who will get less money than Randle El -
Lions finally hire Martz as OC
Punch and Judy Garland replied to Kyyle23's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
He would have turned JP Losman around in 5 minutes. I think it will be up to Martz really on whether or not they keep Joey Harrington. If Marts thinks he can throw to spots and improve, he'll be back. Jeff Garcia won't be a QB for a Mike Martz offense in my opinion -

I don't think they draft a QB because I don't think Culter will be there -
Lions finally hire Martz as OC
Punch and Judy Garland replied to Kyyle23's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
I'm not sure it'd be stupid to give him a HC job. His record is insanely good as a HC. If I had a Monte Kiffin or that tytpe of strong DC I'd let him be my HC. I think the concern will be what Martz does with slower receivers like Detroit has opposed to the great route running burners he had. I don't think Mike Williams will fit in better than Scotty Vines. I don't worry about the QB spot though. Nobody wanted Kurt Warner or Marc Bulger and they became stars under Martz. I think if Fitzpatrick stayed with Martz he would have done something. I wouldn't be shocked if your 07 starting QB in Detroit is taken late in this years draft -
Fantasy Baseball Advice
Punch and Judy Garland replied to SnB's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
I'd keep Giles and probably Radke over Tracy although Tracy is intriguing. With position scarcity you have to keep Giles I think. I like to have a strong pitching team with offense focusing mroe on leaner positions so that is my personal view on why I'd keep those two. I'd definitely pass on Overbay though, you cna find a better fantasy first-sacker in the draft -
Fantasy Baseball Advice

I would be surprised if Beltre didn't have a really good year. As far as Burnett/Garcia-thats tough. Burnett has bigger upside as a fantasy pitcher although he probably has more injury concerns. I guess I'd go with Garcia but its almost a coin flip -
Elways says NO to T.O.
Punch and Judy Garland replied to Kyyle23's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
Exactly. Whether Denver says they like him or if Terrell feels he will get a shot, their actions speak louder as Charlie Adams and Todd Bel Viv Devoe were chosen for active duty instead of him -
Elways says NO to T.O.
Punch and Judy Garland replied to Kyyle23's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
I know its crazy. There are people on the Broncos message boards that believe David Terrell will still become a very good reciever, I don't see it at all. Now John, Sharpe, and TD have all come out against TO which is interesting. I think Shanahan might still do it if the trade talks for Ricky Williams don't get very far. With Reggie Wayne being franchised and a #2 at best receiver like Randle El getting $12 million in bonus money, Owens oddly becomes mroe appealing -

Yeah I can't see them moving. It'd be even more bad PR for MLB and I think there is no real solid alternative as Vegas is years away from ebing big league ready

"Tigers could be dark-horse contenders in '06"
Punch and Judy Garland replied to SSH2005's topic in The Diamond Club
you guys do realize what a dark horse preseason pick is right? I actually think the Tigers will win about 80-84 games and really cause one of the big three teams in our divisions the title by playing them strongly. I think their rotation is exceptionally strong with Bondo leading the way and I think Kenny Rogers will do quite well -

QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Jan 28, 2006 -> 09:55 AM) He's a top 10 pick, even if he does worse at the combines than a defensive tackle. hoge also said last year that Andre Johnson is the best receiver in football and he picked the Texans to beat the Chiefs on Sunday night football. He's full of s***
