  1. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 03:51 PM) Eaten alive by Santana Moss? The only catch Moss had that really hurt us was when he beat Azumah not Tillman. With Tillman on him he had 3 catches for 44 yards not exactly amazing numbers. Not eaten alive. Just eaten. And Azumah got burned by Thrash today, not Moss. Tillman was on Moss throughout the whole game.
  2. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 04:03 PM) Per the game thread. Ozzie in the post game conference was asked if he was going to regroup tomorrow to get ready for the next road trip. His answer is that he is going to leave chicago to go to Miami tomorrow because he needs a day off from the city of chicago to mentally regroup. I don't blame him. I would too. This team is a mess. Him, K-Dub and the rest of the team need to have a meeting big time. Play all the subs on Tuesday. Send a message to this f'n team.
  3. QUOTE(Yoda @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 04:00 PM) Why even make a thread knowing that there are many optimistic people out there who are just going to come in here and say that the Sox are a-okay. BTW, The f*** with El Duque’s 9-2 Post season record. I agree.
  4. Well I doubt this guy is making it up. If he is, this is a very crappy post.
  5. Wow. You have many posts, so I'll take your word on it. That's crazy.
  6. Why are we wasting Cotts? Use Viz and call it a day. Look at those sleeping fans. Today's not a good day if you're a Chicago Sports fan.
  7. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 03:15 PM) Yes and that becomes a problem when the offense scores a lot. But when all you give up is 9 points that means your defense did one hell of a job. Especially since they forced 2 turnovers and we got a 3rd on special teams. It means your zone defense hunkered down. That's all. They owned the time of possession and field position as one said earlier. And this was against a mediocre offense again. That's not good. I'll post my thoughts on this game: Oh, and Charles Tillman is easily the most overrated Bear. He's still living off those Randy Moss games. Guess what, Randy isn't in their division anymore. He was getting eaten today by Santana Moss. Vasher, however, is a real CB in the league. Potential PBer.
  8. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 03:22 PM) Don't tell. But it is hard to win when you don't score. But I thought pitching and defense wins championships and you could win a game 0-0.
  9. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 02:40 PM) giving up only 3 field goals and 0 TD's with our offense basicly doing nothing the whole first half. Not 2 mention an int., couple sacks, 2 forced fumbles doesnt look good? Gave up yards all over the place. Honestly, you were facing a team who didn't know what QB they wanted in. Rushing and passing yards all over the place. Washington was moving on the Bears and I would say they're a mediocre offense(only because of Portis). I must say, Tillman is the most overrated Bear on the team. Sure he stopped Randy Moss. Too bad he isn't in the division anymore.
  10. Wow, that would've been the 3rd HR if it wasn't for Rowand.
  11. Way to start off that ballgame. Sweep? *cries* Why can't we use BMac?
  12. What a bad play by Orton. Wow, the Bears should've never given up those defensive players(minus Phillip Daniels). They're killing the Bears on D.
  13. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 12:43 PM) I just think that Furcal is going to get a ton of money from a Chicago team....and he'll be playing SS for the Cubs. I think there's a very good chance we trade for Overbay if Konerko leaves town. I'll be shocked if Contreras and Marte are on the Sox next season. Why? Count has had a really nice year. I can guarentee Count is with this team unless we're getting a stud in return.
  14. Redskins 14, Bears 10 As far as the Cowboys, I think they'll pull the upset. No Gates. Merriman isn't going to play from what I hear. McCardell is the only WR to fear on that team.

QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 10:25 PM) Thankfully, sarcasm was detected. Wait, you don't like the intensity Grilli brings when he pitches and starts off the game with the bases loaded off the bat? I thought that made the games interesting and he did that on purpose. You're an ungrateful a-hole.

QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 09:54 PM) Than those two, yes. Better than Munoz or Diaz? No. I miss my boy Felix Diaz. What about Jason Grilli. Let's trade back for him.
  17. Nice wallpaper. Not really a Bears fan, but I'll tell my brother about this.
  18. Popeye's Chicken is where it's at.
  19. I would, but it's very hard to reassure anyone of this team right now. Best you could do is support them and hope for the best.

Better Sanders than Walker or Adkins any day of the week. Baj looked real nice out there. Maybe we should use him more for the stretch run.
  21. What about this Texas and Ohio St game. I thought Texas was going to blow them out at the beginning of the game but Ohio St fought back and has the lead. I'm hoping for a Texas win.
  22. Go. It's your last chance to see them. It's the White Sox. Even if they lose 50 in a row, if you got an oppurtunity to go, just go man. You'll love it. At the very least, you get a couple of dogs and drinks and have a nice sunday afternoon.
  23. That is choking. Is this team ready for the playoffs? They look far from it, but hoping they pull off one of the biggest choke jobs in the history of the majors is not cool man. Just hope Ozzie doesn't start Buehrle or Garland in Game 1 and actually decides to use all his starters minus Timo.
