  1. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 03:22 PM) Don't tell. But it is hard to win when you don't score. But I thought pitching and defense wins championships and you could win a game 0-0.
  2. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 02:40 PM) giving up only 3 field goals and 0 TD's with our offense basicly doing nothing the whole first half. Not 2 mention an int., couple sacks, 2 forced fumbles doesnt look good? Gave up yards all over the place. Honestly, you were facing a team who didn't know what QB they wanted in. Rushing and passing yards all over the place. Washington was moving on the Bears and I would say they're a mediocre offense(only because of Portis). I must say, Tillman is the most overrated Bear on the team. Sure he stopped Randy Moss. Too bad he isn't in the division anymore.
  3. Wow, that would've been the 3rd HR if it wasn't for Rowand.
  4. Way to start off that ballgame. Sweep? *cries* Why can't we use BMac?
  5. What a bad play by Orton. Wow, the Bears should've never given up those defensive players(minus Phillip Daniels). They're killing the Bears on D.
  6. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 12:43 PM) I just think that Furcal is going to get a ton of money from a Chicago team....and he'll be playing SS for the Cubs. I think there's a very good chance we trade for Overbay if Konerko leaves town. I'll be shocked if Contreras and Marte are on the Sox next season. Why? Count has had a really nice year. I can guarentee Count is with this team unless we're getting a stud in return.
  7. Redskins 14, Bears 10 As far as the Cowboys, I think they'll pull the upset. No Gates. Merriman isn't going to play from what I hear. McCardell is the only WR to fear on that team.
  8. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 10:25 PM) Thankfully, sarcasm was detected. Wait, you don't like the intensity Grilli brings when he pitches and starts off the game with the bases loaded off the bat? I thought that made the games interesting and he did that on purpose. You're an ungrateful a-hole.
  9. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 09:54 PM) Than those two, yes. Better than Munoz or Diaz? No. I miss my boy Felix Diaz. What about Jason Grilli. Let's trade back for him.
  10. Nice wallpaper. Not really a Bears fan, but I'll tell my brother about this.
  11. I would, but it's very hard to reassure anyone of this team right now. Best you could do is support them and hope for the best.
  12. Better Sanders than Walker or Adkins any day of the week. Baj looked real nice out there. Maybe we should use him more for the stretch run.
  13. What about this Texas and Ohio St game. I thought Texas was going to blow them out at the beginning of the game but Ohio St fought back and has the lead. I'm hoping for a Texas win.
  14. Go. It's your last chance to see them. It's the White Sox. Even if they lose 50 in a row, if you got an oppurtunity to go, just go man. You'll love it. At the very least, you get a couple of dogs and drinks and have a nice sunday afternoon.
  15. That is choking. Is this team ready for the playoffs? They look far from it, but hoping they pull off one of the biggest choke jobs in the history of the majors is not cool man. Just hope Ozzie doesn't start Buehrle or Garland in Game 1 and actually decides to use all his starters minus Timo.
  16. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 03:50 PM) So how long until the "Decline" thread makes a reappearence? It shouldn't. He's been this type of pitcher for some time.
  17. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 03:47 PM) still the best pitcher in Chicago and one of the best in the AL. My god 2 months ago we were saying Buehrle was god. Now he is garbage. No he was arguably(Garland could have a case) the best pitcher in the 1st half in Chicago. Now he's gone to s***. Right now, I'd take Contreras in a head-to-head matchup against Buehrle. And I actually like Buehrle alot. One of my favorite players on the team because he speaks his mind.
  18. QUOTE(bkmoney @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 02:09 PM) apparently you can drop the ball and still make outs now Yeah, he didn't have control of that at all. To me, that's a no out.
  19. Bench all these f***ers minus Uribe and Pods tommorow. All of them did better than the starters and looked way more patient at the plate. Send a message tommorow that you won't tolerate poor offense or poor play. At least it gives me something to look foward to.
  20. Fluke simply because I don't think he'll repeat it next year.
  21. I think it's time to get some reserves some playing time. We ain't coming back in this one. Ozzie needs to stop playing his bench all the f***ing time too. This is the stretch run. This is when you want to wrap everything up.
