Sure, these guys are useful as bench players and back end starters, but let's not pretend like they are on their way to being great players while being dirt cheap. BTW, I do agree with you that they didn't trade Hudson at his peak value. Typically though, that doesn't end up happening. BTW, I can't believe Hahn thought Mackowiak could play CF. WOWWWWWWW

In terms of pure skill, you can make an argument Clausen was #1. Overall though, Bradford was #1 with a bullet.

And Moss is still much faster and is better at WR than Tillman is at CB. Also Moss's WR skills haven't diminished as much as people would like to think.

They realize they're not great at evaluating amateur talent, so they go ahead, and trade them when they're at their peak for guys who will be useful.

Yea WSJ has reported it, not only 4 times, but 4 times within the last year. I don't see it happening either. If it does, Android Developers are going to be pissed because not only is VZW now giving them a shelf life of a month before a better one comes out, they're acquiring their direct competition. Pretty dumb at this point to get the iPhone. Either way, I'm glad I'm off Verizon. Greaet service, horrible pricing. I'll take my $300 bill and put it towards a car note instead.

I was rooting for the Rays as well, but something was missing from them. I'm rooting for the Reds and it's a lack of talent to matchup. Either way, the playoffs should be good. In the end I think the Yankees beat the Phillies in 5 this year.

Yeah, I'd argue Pettite is more of a safebet in the playoffs than Sabathia.
