  1. QUOTE (shipps @ Mar 4, 2015 -> 11:54 AM) Yeah ideally. But even if it doesnt that would mean they would just need to get more out of it from the other team later on. I really think they may get some dumb team to offer up 3-4 draft picks in the 2nd and 3rd range with one at least being a 1st rounder for Jay. Not that I think he is worth it but teams are freaking desperate right now. Like really really desperate. I'll believe it when I see it. Doesn't seem like teams are desperate, seems like they are willing to suck.
  2. Man, talk about shaking off the offseason fan rust, I just looked at Cabrera for like 10 minutes and was like "...orlando???". I felt real dumb. And then posted about it!

I will say that considering the continued push for Sox with high groundball pitchers, I'd like to have strong up the middle defense.
  4. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Mar 4, 2015 -> 10:39 AM) I understand, and that's obviously a huge problem. How does someone from the white house or sec of state not tell her that when they try to reach her? I guess i'm asking why the server itself is a big deal versus how she used it. I think it's just a sign of "premeditation", that she would specifically not comply with those rules. And yes, that is a question, how did nobody force her to at least set one up?
  5. Maybe, Bears need a 3rd WR though, Wilson hasn't proven much.
  6. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Mar 4, 2015 -> 10:35 AM) Wouldn't it be more logical for her to run her own server like a small business versus grabbing a gmail or hotmail account? That way she can control the security as she sees fit (obviously not good enough)? I'm failing to see the big problem here, at least with respect to having her own email server and address. If she's using the private email for her job, obviously that's the huge problem here, not just the fact that she has it in the first place. All state business is supposed to be done through a .gov email address, which can be open to FOIA requests. She never even SET UP her .gov email account, so she was doing all business emails through this personal account.
  7. Reminder that Hillary's emails were released during her time as First Lady. Just ridiculous to fly in the face of transparency like that.
  8. Dang, wasn't he a 4-year starter at Kansas too? Feels like he should be 38 at least.
  9. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Mar 4, 2015 -> 09:16 AM) I have seen some tweets and stories about it, it seems like there is an alpha dog problem. Wall says he is it, Beal thinks he is it, the locker room has divided over it TBH, I hate paul pierce, but I'm surprised a player like him on the team would let a locker room split like that. Unless I could also see him play favorites too.
  10. Main takeaway from that game - Niko and Gasol pulling out their big men to the perimeter destroyed that defense. ALSO - man, what happened to the Wiz?
  11. George Kottaras has such a great name, rooting for him
  12. This email thing is another reason why I wish someone beside Clinton could emerge. Considering the roll the US was on in the 90s, the lack of signature accomplishments by Clinton is embarrassing, especially environmentally.
  13. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Mar 3, 2015 -> 07:31 AM) Sorry if this was mentioned already but I hate seeing the Minoso thread sinking down the page because most of us never saw the man play and don't realize how truly gifted he was as a player and even moreso as a person. SSS writes 3 articles and has a podcast about his passing and his career. It is some of his best work and every Sox fan should read it as well as the others. http://www.southsidesox.com/2015/3/2/81314...o-rest-in-peace . Agreed, some great stuff at SSS this week.
  14. Very cool. Good on sox to do whatever possible to promote that stadium after that crap team last year.
  15. Well, in Johnson's interview he said he fought shoulder inflammation all year, but they could not find a structural reason. Not that that's optimal to have a mystery shoulder, but if that is behind him he may find himself back to normal.
  16. Well...this sucks.
  17. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Mar 2, 2015 -> 12:28 PM) So does Jeff or Jose start? With my luck it will be Scott Carroll.
  18. Well aren't you mr. math!
  19. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo
  20. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Mar 2, 2015 -> 08:58 AM) http://m.mlb.com/news/article/110819666/ph...hicago-treasure Very good Phil Rogers column on Minnie. Didn't realize his WAR and BB/K stats were so amazing... Here's one reason we'd love to have a Minoso on this team: http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/...smi01-bat.shtml His XBT% was in the 60 percentiles for multiple years. Nice player to have on the basepaths ahead of you.
  21. Thought these were great.
  22. Man this is the worst effort I've ever seen pau give on D this year. Really disappointing.
  23. Murderball is back.
  24. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Mar 1, 2015 -> 11:16 AM) I just read a good, but probably easy for a big White Sox fan, trivia question. There is still an active player who had a teammate who was a teammate of Minnie's. Took me a while but I figured it out. That's awesome
