What a jobs report. I would be surprised if q4 GDP does not get substantially revised upward.

Farewell to Dayan Viciedo
I would take every one of those 6 outfielders (some obviously, but whatever) over Dayan so that should probably answer your question.

Vaccinations
QUOTE (SnB @ Feb 5, 2015 -> 02:42 PM) Is it just me or is the tide of public perception definitely turning on this subject over the past few weeks? Yes, hopefully no infants die in order for that to have happened. Seems like people realized finally it isn't a "quirky, hippy" thing to do as much as it is incredibly dangerous and selfish.

Another listless bulls performance. I have gotten zero enjoyment from this team in 2015.

2015 Recruiting thread
After Texas State I thought that team was a borderline FBS team. That they improved into conference play says a lot. It definitely beat a number of teams with better talent, so not much more you can ask for there. They have a long way to go but they had a long way to go when he was hired.

Park Experience Changes?
QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Feb 4, 2015 -> 03:31 PM) If that's true, why doesn't anyone watch the NBA all-star activities? And I agree, the NBA does a lot better job marketing their stars, but I don't think that has anything to do with the lame all-star weekend they have. Just fundamentally, you see a basketball players face much more often than in baseball. Basketball is a much more intimate sport, the cameras are much closer and tighter to the action, as are the fans. Basketball shoes are such a huge business and every player has their signature shoes that helps spread a player's brand. Basketball players are much more recognizable and known than baseball players, but I wouldn't say that has anything to do with their all-star weekend. And yet Jeter was a huge celebrity. Baseball has had many larger than life figures, and very recently do not. This isn't like football and goalie masks where the "you can't see their face" excuse is there. Baseball very recently has done a terrible job of injecting their stars into pop culture relevance. You don't think marketing can change that?

The only player Mizzou lost out on, Brandon Martin (LSU) is going to JUCO anyway. I feel bad for the kid, his school lost his charter, so he was just going to have trouble getting his academics in order.

Park Experience Changes?
I don't think it's AC/DC Specific as much as if you had this song that was really popular with the fan base for a while but then slowly lost it's appeal as time/seasons went by, you should change it up. That song was what, 25 years old when it was popular in 2005 with sox fans? It's not about pop culture relevance in itself.

This is an awesome class for Mizzou, best one since gabbert. Future QB, Future dominant Dlineman, and a bunch of four star athletes and hybrids for Barry Odom to do what he wants. That said, the WR group next year is awful

The things we thought Jimmy would be good at (defense, slashing, athleticism, rebounding) he was good at. The stuff we thought he'd be bad at (awareness, shooting) he was bad at. The stuff we thought Doug would be good at (Shooting, offense) he's been awful at, the stuff we thought he'd be bad at (defense) he's been horrible at.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 3, 2015 -> 03:39 PM) You must have found the one honest alderman in Chicago! This is how these people get elected. like 5% of their district will vote. The likelihood is if someone takes the energy to complain, they'll take the energy to vote.

Vaccinations
To be honest I'm not sure if it's extremely small. Because of the clusters, it's fair to say that on average the US is close to the threshold of full immunity, but there are clusters of high immunity and then towns of people at 50% where these will be huge. Now, California is a very populated state, so even if we isolate it to there that would be a huge public health hazard.
