  1. Just seems so hysterical that our offense would get devastated with injuries one year after that happens to defense. Santonio Holmes is our number one receiver.
  2. Two o lineman and two receivers out. God damn.
  3. Despite return issues, good kick coverage, thank God
  4. I have a feeling Britton will get a call this week
  5. Holy crap did you guys see the Antonio brown play where he tries to hurdle the browns kicker but ends up drop kicking him in the face.
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 7, 2014 -> 06:23 PM) Some low standards you have for the defense. They are letting a bad offense do whatever they want. The linebackers are simply awful. They had one bad drive. They got three points on a drive where they gained zero yards. The offense has lost the half.
  7. God this analysis is terrible. Why don't they go back to the successful plays and stop calling the unsuccessful plays? Football is so easy!
  8. Gotta get to 17 -14 half.
  9. Yes, how dare the defense allow a touchdown when he team starts on their 5 yard line. Good job offense, for continuing to be great. This defense thou!!!
  10. Man, just poor execution. Bad first game. At home.
  11. Tim Jennings with a terrible series. Pass rush nowhere. Conte actually looks like best player
  12. maybe he ends up like Edgar Martinez, kickin it until he's 64. Was he a person? i don't remember.
  13. QUOTE (TRU @ Sep 5, 2014 -> 08:11 PM) I get the feeling that the Bills coaching staff doesn't like Spiller. For one, hes returning kicks now. Two, they tried to trade up for Carlos Hyde. Three, they DID trade a 4th to the Eagles for Bryce Brown. Five, they signed Anthony Dixon this offseason. And of course Fred Jackson is still there. Last year, Bell and Bush were pretty much dead even in fantasy points for PPR leagues. Plus, you never know when Bush is going to get banged up. I agree with this. That's a huge risk. Would anyone put money on more than 8 carries from Spiller? It may happen but very scary.
  14. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Sep 5, 2014 -> 05:57 PM) They still made it to the NFC championship game. I get your point but it's not like the Niners nose dived or something. Right, they aren't a crap team, but everyone thought they were on the verge of this unstoppable passing offense. It turned out to just be one game. As long as Seattle has that D, that mobile-ish QB who can extend drives, and that running game, they will be dangerous. But just maybe not 35 ppg unstoppable offensive force dangerous.
  15. I'd also like to remind everyone that last year the darlings the 49ers opened up against the packers and Kaep threw for like 500 yards and 4 tds and everyone thought the 9ers offense had risen! Then it sputtered for the rest of the season. Point is, this is a long season.
  16. Fun, I love when it's in baseball stadiums.
  17. QUOTE (Boogua @ Sep 5, 2014 -> 01:28 PM) Are Mizzou fans scared of this Toledo game this week? I understand that Mizzou lost a ton of starters from last year, but the talent discrepancy with Toledo alone should have the line above -3.5. Just wanted to get some insight. Mizzou fans are convinced they'll lose every game, but yes, I think every mizzou fan has this game circled, moreso than UCF, as the non-con that will bite them. Missouri starts slow, which I think is part of the fact that the school recruits 3stars and "coaches em up", but it takes them a while to succeed in the season. The offense looked bad, but the coaches rarely give up anything in the non con games. I think that changes vs. Toledo, because I do think they are terrified.
  18. I thought the same v. Djokovich. I was really bummed for a bit, I was really hoping for 1 last major for Federer this year, but at least wanted a semis/final match. It was hard watching Monfils just lose it like that. His high points and erratic concentration, drinking of cocacola, doing "no look" shots despite there being no way that would affect an opponents sight line make him the most interesting tennis player. Just so bizarre.
  19. Britt looked good too. Missouri has a 100% hit rate, everyone is awesome. Nobody sucks, certainly nobody threatens to have a bomb in an airport. +++ Gosox, I agree. Their organization, top to bottom, seems to be 100% on the same page. Reminds me of the spurs how everyone when interviewed hits the same points, talks about how much they love it and how they believe. Certainly doesn't hurt that they also feed them PEDs in their water. Lastly - that TD play to Lockette was totally taken from Auburn's playbook. It's scary how well that worked at the NFL level.
  20. Incredible match. I hope Roger can pull this off.
  21. In other words : just trust management! What could go wrong!
  22. Playing in Seattle is never easy. Maybe you'll see a super bowl trophy ceremony letdown, but likely you'll lose a close game and it won't mean much for the rest of the season.
