  1. Absolutely shocking
  2. LETS FN GOoOOoOoOoOo
  3. I don’t really care about the defense. Dolphins scored at will against the bills, and the weather couldn’t be better today. But watching a bears offensive player that cannot be stopped and it’s not a running back?
  4. Fields doing SO much better at avoiding contact
  5. I don’t know. I would have killed to have a luhnow hired in 2011 and build an organization so embedded with the focus on improvement and taking every edge that he could be removed, star players left and still be in 4/6 World Series with 2 wins. Also congrats to Dusty.
  6. Yes, apparently recommended by Pedro.
  7. It really is wild that we are grabbing a hitting coach from the royals to modernize our offensive approach and it's...true and good.
  8. No reason not to want amazing players on the sox. I couldn't believe we let turner get traded without being the top team rumored the entire time, especially considering what happened with Madrigal. Big missed opportunity. But yeah, there's no chance now.
  9. Yaz may be cooked physically, but offers one of the few potential high obp, lhp potential on the roster. It's something they need to actually figure out, but it's one of the reasons you can't trust this FO because they looked at Carlos Rodon and determined he was done and he basically could have won the cy young and will get buku bucks.
  10. LOL. I love how different the white sox is in national writers heads vs. fans. We are more correct with zero info.
  11. Only thing you could do is try to unload Grandal (which requires eating cash or taking on ...probably a trash pitcher I'd guess) That really opens up the C position for Omar Narvaez! Now a good defensive catcher, his offense has fallen off. It looks like he may have hit a real wall as he ages into year 30, making him attractive to Hahn.
  12. I like this, wasn't a fan of the wake forest color scheme. Cool idea to tie it into the rest of the sports teams. Well, actually I don't think it's executed that well. I think the grays are probably the best.
  13. biggest bummer is C is pretty weak. Guys that are on good lines but not with great grades from pff (my only way to judge, even if flawed). Now, do you try to steal jason kelce for a twilight tour? He's still playing at a high level. Maybe they win a superbowl and start to get serious about a jalen hurts contract.
  14. he needs to play like caruso but be 6'9. Finally he's getting it.
  15. Happy for a baseball lifer getting a shot.
  16. what is with white sox media and constantly alluding that they know more and never saying it? Goodness, maybe Cowley was good for something.
  17. I do keep getting annoyed that I don't see his name.
  18. I think it is good that the white sox did not make a "superstar" manager hire, and will have one integrated with the process of the rest of the org (including maybe outside hires of his own to put his stamp on development). I don't think the rest of the org is strong, but I do think Getz more than anyone has tinkered constantly with PD and it's a step forward. I just have a hard time believing Eloy won't have one monster season in his career. Please let it happen where we have some chance of competing and not just to get us a handful of prospects.
  19. I'm sorry you didn't like the pick, but the point remains that its ridiculous to imply any GM is thinking they need to "make up" for a third round pick. They went after traits, didn't work. It hasn't worked for any of the third round receivers yet. I wanted bernhard raimann in the third because he was mocked as a early second round pick. He's awful while Braxton Jones is good. Welcome to the draft. The bears walked into the offseason with few picks and few players where too much of the cap had to go to aging performers. To the extent the offense could be fixed by nailing a third round pick shows how difficult the path was. The 2017 saints and 2018 colts are one of the few drafts that completely remade a team in one swoop, and they both had top 15 picks (one a top 5 pick).
  20. I’m so unmotivated to make my spreadsheet this year. I also feel like the salary estimates will be much harder this offseason
  21. Also pleasant first returns from Dragic/Drummond.
  22. It's strange. It feels like this bulls team is better, which is good. The east is hell though, which makes me really worry. After last year, it will be tough to know where this team stands until we see how they play in Feb/March/April. They fell off so hard.
