By the way I'd like to add I love Ross and I think he'd can be a very solid starting first basemen but if you can get a player the caliber of Nick Johnson and a guy who can get on base at a .400 clip I think it would be a great pickup, jmo.

Walker is a grinder, I absolutely love him as a player. The only problem with him is his subpar defense. I do think the way he hits could make up for his defense though, jmo. Renteria.....well of course I'd love him, not much else to say there.

You obviously haven't looked at any stats if that is your opinion. Cabrera doesn't get on base enough to bat 2nd, you have no backup to your argument to use your own words you just have a hard-on for cabrera for whatever reason that is.

I don't understand what you see in cabrera, Polanco is a better hitter and he's a better fit for this team because he can hit in the 2 hole, while Cabrera over the course of season can not.
