absolutely love hawk. Will tremendously miss him when he goes. I'm 31 years old and hes been the only voice of my favorite team I've ever known. I love the personality, I love the homerism. I love the stories about the old players. Even if many or most of them are embellished, don't you sort of want that? There's a romantic quality about baseball where guys get made into Tall Tales in a way and become legendary for it. IMO Hawk helps perpetuate that. Does he make mistakes and say stupid things in the booth? Of course. But he's broadcasting the baseball game I'm watching. He's not managing my retirement funds or diagnosing disease.

I think KW wanted to change the culture and some of the new guys brought in (Rollins Avila Navarro renteria Jackson) were brought in specifically to change aroubd the clubhouse. Some of those guys probably complained about laroche and drake. KW addressed it. I think the "bigger problem" that Sale is referring to is the "new guard" in the clubhouse. IIRC there were whispers that some of the old guys weren't thrilled with the "new leadership"

Adam warren is decent. Not sure why people are dumping on him so much. Castro is trash. They got a pretty usable arm, who fangraphs loves (3 war projected next year). Not overwhelming, but at the deadline they basically couldn't give Castro away
