  1. I LOOOVE the Truck Stick. Sometimes Ill go for a trucking of the safety instead of going for a touchdown. lol I still am having troubles with the passing deal and I am confused on the buttons. Totally different (on xbox at least) from the 05 version

  3. I voted for Bob Dylan. Just to be different. But one overlooked songwriter from the 60s and 70s, hell its a pretty much overlooked band too. Ray Davies from The Kinks. The string of albums from 'Something Else by The Kink's to 'Lola versus Powerman and the Moneygoround part 1' is pretty darned impressive. The 70's werent so kind to the band. But a lost album I think is 'Low Budget' . An album about being poor (at least what I get out of it) I would also throw in the name Elvis Costello
  4. There is no chance that Minnesota gets Owens. They just got rid of one headache in Moss
  5. really. hmm, I wonder what he could do against a real offense like the Sox. lol
  6. oh its been wonderful following this team! Lohse pitches the best game of his career yesterday, and get saddled with the 1-0 loss because the twins offense cant get a hit off a 19 year old
  7. not that it matter much anymore.. but its the top of the 14th in Seattle and the Twins scored 3 runs in the 14th inning. Only one out its 1:20 Central time and the Mariners still have to bat.
  8. QUOTE(danman31 @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 10:56 PM) Funny you guys mentioned this. I just went on a rant about this tonight. Sportscenter used to be the pure substance show on ESPN. Just highlights with comedic voice overs from the anchors. Now it's all opinionated crap and soap operas. BBTN, NFL Live, etc. should be the opinionated shows for that sport (sadly they still are, overkill). SC needs to be the substance, isolated from the rest of the stuff they show. The last thing I want is fact or fiction with some stupid former QB saying the same stuff I could. great post. I agree
  9. I enjoyed the new season part of one episode bothered me though. It was the one where Brian ended up on the reality show and Stewie and making high putched voices about Brian writing a book. The joke went on way to long. And then it happened again later in the episode But I guess that is really knit picking
  10. dudes, he was facing the TWINS offense tonight I wouldnt be too excited about a low hit game. A lot of pitchers have been getting those this year
  11. they gave up 11 runs in the 9th inning to the Tribe this is Royal baseball
  12. its too bad. I really like Aaron Browns show. I hope its not in danger of being canceled now
  13. Hoooow about that! I loved the opening theme music to the show too. Da da dadadda. They still have the closing music from Mels day Remember after Mel died, they replaced him with the Claymation Mel and he 'hosted' the show. Crazy
  14. QUOTE(Confederate_48 @ Aug 6, 2005 -> 09:13 PM) Did anyone ever watch Spike TVs MLB show sorta like TWIB ?? I watched part of it for the first time this week and it had some Sox players micd during the Baltimore series it was pretty cool. I saw that too. I usually dont wake up early on a Saturday, but work related reasons made me. I was flipping around and caught it. Bruce Chen is a funny guy. TWIB usually runs a half hour before the FOX Game of the Week for me
  15. Im a big fan of The Pretenders. While there was only 1 chick in the band, Chrissie Hynde, she was pretty much the voice of the band
  16. I dont have a credit card or a debit card. I use my checkbook everywhere. If your store doesnt except checks, you wont get my business. lol I like paying cash for little things like sodas at the gas station or a quick trip to Taco Bell. Write checks for grocies and clothes. And use online payments for my bills

  21. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 07:41 PM) This is a cop-out but I'll call roids and betting on your team-equally bad but betting against your team the cardinal sin I agree
