  1. I'd imagine by the end of next week you'll see most of the prospects re-assigned to their affiliate, maybe a NRI cut or two, and then we are only two weeks away from opening day. Hard to believe it's basically 3 weeks away.
  2. Sox go 123 in the 9th, game to the A's 6-5. Some good signs from the guys that matter today.
  3. hard to judge with the camera so far towards 3rd but I thought it grabbed some plate. ump's been calling them strikes in that area all game from what I can tell.
  4. Yermin battles but takes a called 3rd strike. Looked like it had a bit of the plate. Great pitch.
  5. Yermin got a cookie and he fouls it off. @poppysox was surprised Vaughn was able to score on that, decent wheels.
  6. Zach Remillard, a 26 year old former 10th round pick and not-really-a-prospect swings on 3-0 and keeps the train moving with a roped single into left. Yermin up with two outs and a chance to tie or take the lead.
  7. Vaughn, in really tough conditions with the sun, rips one down the right field line for a double. What a beautiful swing.
  8. Who is 87? He looks like a clown with those glasses and that chain.
  9. Not really sure how the fuck Robert didn't take 3rd there. Must have badly misread the play.
  10. There ya go Nick! Rips a single up the middle on 0-2 for the RBI.
  11. Robert works a walk. Solid AB. Chance for Madrigal to drive in a run.
  12. Great swing by Collins as he stays on a low fastball against a lefty and rifles it into right.
  13. Fulmer about to load the bases. Has no control on his off speed stuff at all. LOL classic reverse jinx as he throws his best changeup of the day to get the K on the full count. Pretty ballsy .
  14. Yup he has absolutely zero idea where the ball is going and his stuff isn't good enough to be "effectively wild". Leaves a lot of 94 mph flat fastballs in the zone.
  15. Nice play by Collins on the wild throw by Sheets at home and saves a run.
  16. Fulmer's delivery looks a little less max effort this spring.
  17. Couple more runs for Oakland on some soft contact. Fulmer comes on and gets the last two outs without too much bother. Mendick made the final out at SS, doesn't appear to hvae the strongest arm.
  18. Grandal will be a breath of fresh air for us fans and the staff after years of bad framing.
  19. Totally. And mentally. ReyLo is a bit of a headcase out there. Having someone grabbing him borderline strikes is going to help him quite a bit.
