Thought about going to tonight’s game. They want 30 bucks for 500 level seats. Get fucked. Not sure I’ll even make it to my third game this season. My apathy for this team knows no bounds.

I want to genuinely thank you for finding this. I’ve quoted this stat many times over the years, but I could never actually find the game you mentioned. I remember watching it happen and thinking it was special at the time, but then I couldn’t remember when it happened 😆

Buehrle needed only to stick around for a few more years and he probably would’ve gotten to 250 wins or very close, and he’d be in. I respect his decision to walk away though, and I don’t think he cares about getting into the Hall. He may yet, but it’ll be the Veterans Committee or something. @Jake, were the majority of those stolen bases Ichiro?

I’m not sure why people feel a need to couch their statements. The guy was a fucking icon. No need to be anything but complimentary of him at his passing. The man was wrestling.

Knowing my history, a few people have asked me recently if I’ve been watching any of the 2005 reunion stuff. I realized I haven’t watched a game in weeks nor have I’ve watched any of these videos. I sometimes can’t believe how much this franchise killed my fandom.

The arguments are going to come down to politics because everything boils down that anymore, but I don’t think that’s even the main issue. People want attention too much, and believe it or not, hoaxes are fairly common and they’re a good way to draw attention.
