  1. Thought for sure that was gonna happen. Amazing that they only gave up one run.
  2. Losing 2-1 after the first.
  3. They’re both awful. You can all stop arguing now.
  4. Retroactive to April 7th? Damn, that’s lightning fast for this team. Maybe the organization is moving in the right direction. Not wins-wise, of course.
  5. Craig’s Bond is more like Jason Bourne. If you haven’t seen Blazing Saddles, it will blow your fucking mind if you thought Young Frankenstein was great (and it was). To be completely honest, I haven’t seen anywhere near all the Bond movies. I grew up in the Brosnan era though, so he will forever top the rest for me.
  6. Like I said, I will not hear any arguments.
  7. I have two corrections for you, against which I will not hear any arguments. 1) While Goldeneye is awesome, it as at best #2 behind Ocarina of Time. 2) Pierce Brosnan is the best Bond.
  8. Yeah, I’m not faulting anyone for that. I left the game just before that started, but hadn’t made it back to the car in time. The rain was coming down horizontally because of the strength of the wind. That was some nasty s%*#, as short as it lasted.
  9. Not really surprising, but all of the tickets for the first week of games have been decent seats down the right field and left field lines. I kinda of expected them to be in the outfield bleachers.
  10. The dickhead writers inserting themselves into the story, as always.
  11. The Gene Hackman thing is so sad. He has three kids, from what I’ve read. How do you have a 95-year-old parent with Alzheimer’s, and you don’t check in on them regularly. Yikes.
  12. Disagree. The string of R. Kelly jokes alone has been worth it.
  13. This thread is not disappointing.
  14. lol. lmao even. Watch him start opening day.
  15. You guys are understandably more concerned with DA’s hat, but I’m over here picturing Sabathia in a Cleveland hat even if he spent more time in New York.
  16. Specifically forbids it. Will just give them to friends and family that are willing to take them.
  17. I can’t believe myself, but I’m sort of interested? I mean, I know there’s no way I’d go to anywhere near all 27 games, but I’m still intrigued. Could just be the excitement of watching baseball again (the opponent, not us). I really may end up doing this for the ballpark food alone.
  18. Is anyone else not excited about this SB at all? I don’t think I’ve ever cared less or been looking less forward to one. I’ll probably end up having it on in the background, but I’m usually either out or glued to the tv for the game. I’ve talked to a couple other people that say they’re not watching it at all. There have been other years where I didn’t care about the matchups, a lot of them recently. I think with this year having so many teams to really root for, with it to just end up being KC-Philly, has made it extra demoralizing.
  19. OK, I know I have to be late to the party with this joke, but this is honestly the first time I’ve heard of this guy.
  20. Yep, it’s a lose-lose.
  21. Milk, you beautiful bastard, if only you could monetize your sports pessimism.
