I don't hate DJ nearly as much as most people do. I realize he's not very good at his job, but at this point he's like a good friend doing the commentating. He's been around and I've grown to like the guy a whole lot. I find the broadcasts plenty interesting, when I'm not phasing them out because of tight situations, with Hawk and DJ. And there is no call, nothing, that can compare to their homerun call when DJ joins in for the YES!

Ha, some people really need to settle down. If someone were to read this thread without looking at the title, they would think the Sox just signed a crappy player when there were 40 big-name players on the market. Take it easy. It's just the radio. It's like people are just looking for a reason to be pissed off this offseason.

Ha, even if he waits for next year, he's gonna get drafted by the s***tiest team in the NFL. There would be no point in avoiding the Texans, because next year he'd just be on that year's version of the Texans.

How the hell did Jeromy Burnitz get $6.7 million? According to ESPN.com's baseball page, he got a 1-year deal worth almost 7 million and an option.

If Crede really wants to stay, he'll drop Boras. The White Sox give out fair contracts. Hell, they gave Timo $1,000,000 last year. With just about any agent, Crede would get a more than fair deal with the Sox. I guess we'll find out what he really wants eventually. Also, this is gonna sound bad, but how old is Boras? As soon as this guy dies, baseball will be a better sport.

I have a certain fondness for Herbert Perry, as should all of you. He was the Milkman, and he always delivered...that one year. Plus, I also like milk. I have Iguchi in my avatar because he's my favorite current Sox player, and second is Konerko, of course The sig is just awesome. Knightni is clearly the Milkman of sig making.
