I really didn’t see much different. Michael said it was time for a change, he really liked AKME personally, he put a head coach qualifier on the next hire, didn’t commit to the full embrace of analytics, talked about how they always have done things over the years, said Sam Presti was great but good lord we can’t tank (and, honestly, call it whatever you want but they have been tanking. Just at the worst time), talked about how this is such a wanted job. All the Reinsdorfs do is make half promises and talk half truths. Nothing about that press conference was reassuring to me
