  1. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 17, 2011 -> 01:53 PM) Trust me, there are things I don't like about players on all of my favorite teams. I still think Derrick Rose is a Dbag for having his brother take his SATs. Rose never had any interest in college its not like he used that to get a degree, because of the NBA's stupid rule that makes Rose a dbag? And he didn't rob his teammates of being runners up, they still experienced it with or without the record books saying it.
  2. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Mar 16, 2011 -> 08:27 PM) No. It's how video games have always been, and it works better IMO than the stick does. Plus, I hate how the stick gives away the location of your throw. It puts a little arrow in the direction you are throwing it, so, assuming it doesn't change when you play vs. someone, it gives away where the ball will be thrown. meh I like the fact that I can aim it with the stick, unlike with the button where you just have to hope your player doesn't miss
  3. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Mar 16, 2011 -> 01:24 AM) I really love hitting now. Pitching is cool, but I'm not a big fan of how you basically don't even have to aim anymore, and playing against someone is damn near impossible to pitch. Fielding w/ the stick is just dumb. and pressing a button to field isn't dumb?
  4. In other news the Bulls are all alone in 1st place.
  5. Played the show for the first time tonight. I am in love with the new controls.

Well they evacuated us to a higher floor in the lobby last night at 1am and we had to sit there until given the all clear at 6am. Not a big deal.

    i am drunk

QUOTE (The Baconator @ Feb 20, 2011 -> 08:58 PM) I had my first Four Loko tonight. And second. And third. I've heard of these mystical beings for months while I was away on a Senate campaign but I never saw them. And they are glorious. Four Lokos with caffeine or without? To the drunk texting conversation, thankfully I have never had serious problem with drunk texting only a few minor text here and there.

    2011 TV Thread

I watched every survivor up until the cook islands, and then I stopped for some reason. I watched it on Wednesday night, and am now hooked again.
  13. QUOTE (Felix @ Feb 19, 2011 -> 10:15 PM) I'd put that dunk at 4th best of the night. McGee's double dunk was easily #1 for me, in terms of difficulty and creativity. Either way it doesn't really matter who wins its for entertainment purposes only. Mcgee used his good dunks too early and it came back to bite him. Edit: And no one had any hope of beating Griffin in a fan vote. So once again it really doesn't matter haha
  14. QUOTE (Felix @ Feb 19, 2011 -> 10:11 PM) The first round was great, but it was painfully obvious the whole thing was rigged to put Blake into the finals. Had to get the KIA plug in somehow. He still had the best dunk of the night though(vince carter) so I'm not too upset.
  15. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 19, 2011 -> 09:41 PM) McGees double dunk was sick and then he topped himself with a triple ball dunk.
  16. Can't really pass judgement on this until you know if the kid had the talent to deserve to be on the team(from the article is sounds like it). It be unfair to the other kids if he got on just because he had no legs.
  17. QUOTE (joeynach @ Feb 8, 2011 -> 12:28 AM) I think another interesting question is that if the White Sox have success this year and reap the (financial) benefits of a deep playoff run, do they find a way to exercise that $15M option on Buehrle's contract that is set to vest only if he get (agrees) to a trade. My gut tells me with the way this organization works, if the sox and Buehrle have a both have a great year they will find a way to keep on of their own and get that option picked up. Isn't it just a club option anyway? That automatically vest if he gets traded, but the sox can still can pick it up whenever they want. I don't believe they have to find a way. Edit: Unless you're talking about just finding the money to do it, if so ignore this.
