Don't cite the heymarket affair as an example, 1886 Chicago justice is completely irrelevant to any problems in todays society. The damn anarchists that were convicted probably had something to do with it anyway. As for WWI, this was the first time there actually were people speaking out against war as they did. Obviously things have changed because I don't recall protesting landing anybody in prison for 10 years during this war that just passed. Emma Goldman was a skank, she complained about everything from the russian revolution to a draft. She just wanted attention. there is nothing wrong with union busting, if I owned a business and the workers went on strike I would want to break it up too. the only unfair tactics were yellow dog contracts and black lists.

My most prized possession is an autographed authentic MJ jersey, with all the tags, and there is a sticker next to the autograph to prove its authenticity. I got it when I was younger and went to Jordan's basketball camp. Every kid got to bring one thing to get signed, so my dad but me this authentic jersey and said it was a good investment. I also have a few Frank Thomas autographs, and a Stan Musial autograph. As for Michael Moore, the guy is a total idiot. I can not stand him, I hated him before, and my hatred flows more since the oscars. :fyou him and his stupid ass book.

A lot of times, people say there free speech is being violated, but they are wrong. When there was a large backlash against Danny Glover, he said, 'oh what about free speech, I can hate america'. Well, obviously he does not understand that if we are just as free as he is and we can have the right to boycott him if we disagree with him. And you can't blame mci for getting rid of a spokesperson that nobody likes.

All year Sox fans have made 'fearless predictions' and all year they have been wrong...just you watch though this one will be the one that is correct, damned White Sox luck. I hate Maroth already, and we haven't even lost yet

I was looking at YoFu's numbers (a reliever for Birmingham) and have concluded that the guy is the greatest reliever in the Sox orginization. Are his numbers the best? Yes Does he have the most talent? No Does he have a big money name? c'mon fricken Yofu, of course. Anyway, before this season I had never heard of this guy and now his era is .58...where the hell did he come from? Did we draft him? How long has he been around? Him and our old friend Royce are tearing up AA. I hope this duo continues to dominate for years to come.

I have not seen it yet, but I do not remember an christian imagery in the first one...I guess I am shallow when it comes to symbolism, unless it is thrown right there in front of me (example: the greenlight in the great gatsby) On a matter not related to the Matrix, I think scarface is up there with the great flicks. My spanish teacher even showed some of that movie in spanish class. My jaw hit the floor when he said he brought Scarface in to show us. He only showed the very beginning though, because he said that they asked him the same exact questions when they caught him coming over from cuba illegally. The beginning with the written part about cubans coming to america is actually pretty informative. "Did you get that scar eating pussy?" "how do I get a scar like this, eating pussy?" and obviously the most famous line in the flick "say hello to my little friend"

Family Guy is on cartoon network's adult swim if you want to watch them

I don't have a problem with those commercials...the food McDonalds is the best fastfood restaraunt, and Pizza Hut has good pizza imo...then again I have never had a slice of Pizza I have not liked. I hate car commercials. They are boring and overplayed. Coors commercials are good because the songs usually get stuck in my head and they feature numerous hot women. Budweiser usually has good commercials but they seem to be in a funk right now. I do not like the Dell interns. The 'Dude were getting a Dell' commercials would not have been annoying if Dell hadn't played them every other commercial. I like the commercial for Mountain Dew cold red when the guy rejects the mascot going in for a dunk.

:fyou lineup...damn, we can not waist good starting pitching... :fyou Jose Valentin, can not field your position

wow... I did not think Buehrle would get lit up right after that post

HSC... I think it is time to get rid of that smily face going down the toilet. Actually check that, leave the smily face until the White Sox play poorly again...for now it seems to be lucky. Superstition...the greatest of all mind toys

probably should let this post die...but I love sharing my precious injuries broken pinkie (football with brother) severely sprained ankle (swollen for 4 months never saw a doctor, still almost a year later, hurts when I wake up) swollen nut (went away after a painful day) I guess I avoid major broken bones (pinkie was minor, required a thing to prevent movement)...knock on wood

Comiskey I (too young to remember) Comiskey II 2.5/5 ah...home Tiger Stadium (too hard to judge that stadium) Comerica Park 2.5/5...worst of newest parks I've seen Wrigley Field (sox vs cubs...loved seeing the sox flag haning from one of the roof tops) County Stadium 1.5/5...very sterile Miller Park 4/5 I had good seats and loved the place Busch Stadium 2/5 just a cookie cutter Fenway Park 5/5 great seats, saw Knoblauch's wife, love the place Yankee Stadium 4/5 if Ruth hadn't played there, it would suck Shea Stadium 1/5 very sterile, right next to airport, planes fly over loud and low Camden Yards 5/5 loved it Veterans Stadium 2/5 people say it is the worst...actually it is cleaner than Shea and I didn't mind the vet at all.

Ebay has Sox throwback stuff too...you just take the risk of it's authenticity...you might pay $200 for a knock-off

I remember a game against Detroit when Wil Cordero was playing first and he totally botched a little pop the same way Jimenez did, i feel humiliated watching plays like that.

You are definately right about Buehrle. The lineup has not given him any support. I would not mind seeing him sent to St. Louis if this season falls apart though. St. Louis's farm system has had better days though. I think a trade to the Mets would be the best idea.

For some reason I am just not a believer in Luis Castillo, he just seems like he should not do as well as he does, so in my eyes, giving up Rauch and a prospect is too much. I would much rather piece together a deal with the Yankees to strengthen their bullpen and in return get Almonte and stick him at ss. And then I would try to move Valentin to Baltimore (we would have to eat a lot of his contract), and in return get a minor leaguer or two, or if Matthews Jr. continues to slump, maybe we would acquire him and stick him in Center. I would love to see the Sox get Wily Mo Pena and put him in the starting lineup everyday next year. He has tremendous power and is only 20, he can't play in the minors though, because he is out of options with cinci. He struck out 1/3 at-bats in AA, but he has so much power that Cinci. refuses to run him through waivers. I say we get him let Frank go and then play Pena at first, Konerko at DH next season. Pena could be the next Sosa. Perhaps, Rauch and Ginter for Pena and a mid level infield prospect (The reds need pitching badly)

No, if there were a big trade their would have been rumblings about something going on in the media...Peter Gammons would have said the Sox are talking with so and so

3:30 Central or Eastern?

I love how creative they got with that name, Planet-x...it sounds like a WGN sci-fi tv show

the only thing plausible is CLee to Baltimore, our centerfielder problem could be temporarily solved if we traded Lee to Baltimore for Ponson and Matthews Jr., but the O's would then probably ask that we throw in a minor leaguer. I say let Lee finish the season in Chicago, if we are going to trade him, we should wait until the offseason. If we trade Colon we will not eat up his contract. I think Williams should put together another 3 team deal like so Yankees trade J. Rivera to Giants for J. Williams, Yankees trade J. Williams and E. Almonte to the Sox for Colon and Rick White. in J. Williams we have the best pitcher in the entire orginization (majors and minors), Williams would instantly become our 5th, and Almonte will play out the remainder of 03 in AAA then be our starting SS in 04. The Giants would participate because Williams is not as good as the other arms in that rotation (thurston, Ainsworth, Moss) and Juan Rivera would be there starting RF in 04, he has tremendous power. The Yankees always take pitching and their bullpen needs some help, so Colon would bounce Weaver into the pen, and White also will help their undermanned bullpen

Isn't Sanders as old as the Hills? I am not sure but I think he is just one of those old guys that bounces around every spring, just wanting to play some baseball, you can't tear the uniform off of his back. I doubt we will give him a chance, but I would like to see him get another shot at the bigs, just to make the old man's day.

IMO, Williams f'ed up the 2001 draft. Made a big mistake passing on Heilman. Not that Honel is bad, because he is a great pitcher, but Heilman is besting Honel's A numbers in AAA. Ah, the benefits of drafting pitchers out of college. Kenny should have taken Heilman, who went only 2 picks after Honel. Heilman is also 6'5 and put up great numbers at ND, how Williams passed on him, I have no idea.

you read that there is a meteor that is going to change the way the earth spins on foxnews.com, and that it is causing the world to go to the s***ter?

actually for the East to have a chance, The Kings or Mav's have to make it to the finals. The Kings won't make it now that CWebb is gone for the remainder. The Spurs looked aweful in L.A. last night. The Nets continued to Kick ass. my prediction Spurs over Nets in 6 By the way, JKidd better not leave my Nets to go to the Spurs after this season.
