QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 19, 2008 -> 05:37 PM) I can suspend disbelief more than anyone. I had no problem with any of it. I'm assuming you mean the accidental murder and the nanny affair. I was fine with it. Mostly because Tyra is hot. Loved the ones with her playing volleyball. Also how Coach Taylor left his college team in the middle season to go coach high school. I also thought it was weird that all the core players from season one turned out to be juniors.

  5. QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 18, 2008 -> 07:21 PM) Tough luck guys. I've heard that it's only valid if the cougars cause the earthquakes or if the earthquake spawns cougar attacks. It hasnt been proven that those arent the causes yet.
  6. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Apr 18, 2008 -> 04:13 PM) If you plan to continue living in Elmhurst as your profile says you are from, than that insurance very likely isn't necessary to have. If you are planning to move south, even as close as central Illinois or Indiana (Champaign/Indianapolis and south especially), you start getting into a gray area/area where it might be smart to have just in case. I still live in Elmhurst, but Im not gonna chance it. I got a pretty solid deal on my Cougar/Earthquake insurance so Im at least gonna keep it for the rest of the year. Thanks Safeauto
  7. Im not sure who sand the Laffy Taffy but if theyre not on the list the list isnt valid.
  8. To think everyone laughed at me last week when I purchased Midwest Earthquake/Cougar insurance.
  9. I think a lot of it stems from just disliking the Cubs in general and being a Sox fan is just the kicker. I think the whole lovable loser thing is ridiculous and think the team exploits its "fans" more than most others in sports. The Packers on the other hand I actually respect as an organization. So in terms of on the field rivalry I would say I would rather see the Bears beat the Packers but in terms of just disliking an organization I would say the Cubs/Sox rivalry is more intense.
  10. I say Sox/Cubs and IMO its not even close. Its just such a different mind set when its the same city and the fans are more or less one extreme or the other.
  11. Tough way to lose but I wont get too upset about it. The team has looked great thus far this season.
  12. I heard on the radio the other day that Dr Phil posted the "ring leaders" 30k bond in order to secure the exclusive story from her. This is such a tough situation. By no means can you let these kids slide. Especially with things like school shootings becoming more popular. You need to make kids scared of punishments again but its also sad for these kids to ruin their whole lives for a mistake when they are 15-16. All over some stupid s*** on Myspace too, thats sad.
  13. Capping the salaries NFL rookies make so unproven guys dont make more than proven vets.
  14. QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 16, 2008 -> 05:45 PM) Someone shot Samantha from Sex In The City? I was gonna say Demi Moore Theres nothing scarier than driving with a live cougar in your car.
  15. Well we know under no circumstances that PK will bat 3.
  16. Can I just say, I have been a huge Crede fan for a while, but being at the game today. Damn, thats guy has some leather.
  17. QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 14, 2008 -> 11:41 PM) By no means am I excusing Alicia Keys for sounding like an absolute lunatic, but you seem to have a habit of discussing race at every chance you can get. I havent went near any other threads about Wright or anything in a while. I just saw this wasnt up and added it. Thanks for the concern and contribution though.
  18. Thanks MTV. In an interview with Blender Magazine published March 19, 2008, Keys caused a stir in the media, stating that she believes the rivalry between Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur was fueled "by the government and the media, to stop another great black leader from existing." [42] She also claimed that "Gangsta rap' was a ploy to convince black people to kill each other. `Gangsta rap' didn't exist." However, she did not reveal what she believed to be the original source of "Gangsta rap". During the interview she revealed that she wears a gold AK-47 pendant around her neck “to symbolize strength, power and killing ’em dead.”
  19. I would hate to be the guy who is involved in other peoples records. Like whoever gave up Bonds 73rd and stuff like that.
  20. I like Money( or whatever its called) for the apprentice.
  21. I forgot about Home Run Inns frozen pizza. I like that a lot too, its a lot better than delivery from there. I also like Freschetta, its similar to DiGiorno.
  22. Its obviously DiGiorno. Id venture to say its not even that close.
  23. QUOTE (Controlled Chaos @ Apr 8, 2008 -> 11:04 AM) Let's say you were in a NCAA tourney or fantasy football or Texas hold em. Any kind of game where you're playing for prize money. If you are one of the final two top teams, do you think it's ok to get together and make a deal with the other guy to split the pot for 1st and 2nd place, instead of playing it out and having a winner and a loser. I personally think splitting the pot is lame. My friend says I'm lame for thinking that. He says games for prizes are gambling and the point of gambling is to make money so cut a deal. I say these games are for winning and losing and yes, it is like gambling and the whole meaning behind the word gamble is to take a risk...there's not so much of a risk if you agree to just tie the guy you're playing against and split the pot. He counters that making that deal is winning cause you made more money. What do you guys think? I have actually split pots in poker tournaments a lot. Especially if they were winner take all tourneys. Depending on how much the buy in was both of us hated the idea of not winning anything that if a split is allowed I normally offer it.
