So I'm taking a history of Rock class that covers 1970 to present (the first version of the class is roots to 1970, which I took as a freshman), and although the teacher himself is kind of wordy, the class has done a good job reminding me of some music I haven't listened to in awhile (early Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Smashing Pumpkins, RATM to name a few). Been listening to Siamese Dream lately.. I had forgotten how good it is.

Two of my roommates just took the FE on Saturday. That's just an absurdly long test.

If the Gophers can get Cory Joseph to commit, I like our chances to be in the top half of the Big Ten and potentially the top 25 next year. Otherwise, it could be another relatively tough year that ends in more rumors about Tubby leaving for some other s***ty program.

It's impossible to choose between SportsNation, Around the Horn and Rome is Burning. They are all beyond awful and impossible to watch.

I don't understand how IRC isn't user friendly. Maybe I'm a bit bias as I've been using it for the better part of a decade now, but it's pretty straight forward to set up and chat in. If you want to get more technical, you can, but it's not necessary for the basic purposes of most users.

They constantly refer back to earlier episodes (including the pilot) and never seem to contradict themselves. I strongly suggest watching the series with commentary on. It's a lot of fun to listen to them talk about the series, especially if you've already gone through the series normally a couple of times.
