Just to be clear, we are talking about their pets, and not pics of the Sox roster?

You can't do that without an injury to someone else. Being sent down means you are out for 10 days until there is an IL stint for someone new.

As a union guy, it MIGHT be. Especially with the lock out about to happen. He's already got the screw job over $50k from Jerry in his history. I mean it is probably health related, but I wouldn't rule out the other.

After the way the Sox stint went, I am going to guess Gio would rather retire than come crawling back to Jerry.

SOMETHING isn't right. His control is GONE. I know they have mentioned this change from last year, maybe that's it. Well hopefully anyway, because in theory they can work back to what he was doing before.

2026 MLB Forbes teams values, Sox lose money for 6th straight year
Honestly, it was one disaster after another. -COVID -The collapse of the local TV revenue machine right as their deal was running out -TLR and the complete collapse of the franchise just as everyone was getting expensive. -The worst season in the history of MLB. I mean look at the park on a daily basis. There is zero energy. Their TV deal is a fraction of what it was, no one is going to games, their advertising eyes are down. Keep going. Again, you may not WANT to believe it. I didn't really believe it until they brought in a guy to pay off their debts. Seeing as they don't own their park, nor the mortgage on it, why would they have have debt if they weren't losing money? Until someone can explain that to me, I will assume that the franchise that studies the franchise of the biggest companies on the planet for a business can handle a professional baseball team's numbers.

You could, though that requires a 40 man move. Guys like Sandlin, Davitt, and McDougal are all already on the 40.

Even I don't need this. We have a thread for it.

That's what I would expect. The pen has been already running a dude short with Taylor doing the Opener thing, but on top of it, the starters have been awful as a unit. They have definitely been less than half of the teams innings up to this point, which is rough on a pen.

My guess is that he serves as an extra pen pitcher in the short term, and then either gets sent back down, or someone else does, when Smith's turn comes up to start, someone else gets called up to start.

2026 MLB Forbes teams values, Sox lose money for 6th straight year
If you can explain to me how the White Sox would have taken on a newer ownership investment to pay off operations debt without accruing any operations debt, I will listen. Until then, yes I believe it, considering Ishbia was brought in early to pay off the money the Sox have spent the last 6 years losing.

Taylor unavailable (assuming so) after three games in four days. Hicks tries to extend an inning and obviously doesn't have it, gives up hard contact in his second inning. Instead of having Taylor either for the entire 8th, or after Hicks couldn't extend, now we are down to Murphy, and against the Orioles best hitter in high leverage, he hits a bomb.- Official NBA 25-26 Thread
