As a matter of a fact, at times it has made things much worse for the average Palestinian or other people who were occupied at times by Israel. None of this has stopped Israel from exsisting, which is their clearly stated and repeated goal, so if 18 years of history are clear enough to learn from, 60 years must be WAY more than enough right? Why don't the groups who insist on perpetually attacking Israel learn their lessons and leave them alone?

I can't imagine shutting down Mexico City is going to go over well for the 15 million or so people who live and work there...

I know its not Congress, but I should find out about my chances for filling a vacated school board term today... I am not holding my breath as there are 12 people looking for one spot, and among them are some way over-qualified politicians, but I am definately proud of my first jump into the political realm. Having gone through it and still feeling pretty good about myself and my abilities, I am seriously considering a run in the election this fall. VOTE SOUTHSIDER!!!
