White Sox on the Radio
I thought I might share my experience as a White Sox fan in Nashville and the total difference in atmosphere compared to Chicago. If there are any other Sox fans in Nashville, send me a message and we can flood the local airwaves with Sox Talk.

Sox Side Batterz
I hope this is the right spot for it, but if not and this thread gets moved, just shoot me a message so I can find it. Experience has taught me that this board gets so much traffic that unless you come here a few times a day, it is easy to lose your spot. I was hoping to get some feedback on my team the Sox Side Batterz. Surely we have some other fantasy players here as half the guys in my league are die-hard Sox fans as well. Creativity was not with me when naming my team this year.

Question for Hawk Fans
This is good to know as I was a member at BHZ as well and I had wondered what had happened. I look forward to joining up with the new board.

New alternate jersey this year
QUOTE(SuperSteve @ Mar 27, 2006 -> 11:42 PM) There is another one I used to have, where had logos and maybe jerseys, but I lost it a long time ago. I know one exists though. The Hall of Fame site used to have a nice section with past uniforms and jerseys.

Sox Games Online
I see that MLB.com has a package where I can get every out of market baseball game live over the internet. However, I am looking for a package where you could watch the last pitch of every at-bat. In other words, I could watch each game in maybe 20 minutes. Is anybody aware of a package like that? I thought it was via MLB, but maybe it was through Comcast Cable or some other outlet such as Direct TV. Living outside of Chicago, I am trying to figure out how to watch the games. Thanks in advance for any help.

Official NASCAR Thread
QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Mar 18, 2006 -> 06:05 PM) WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Jeff Burton just won the Busch race!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was great news Queen! What happened to him yesterday? He was in the Top 10 most of the day and he finished 25th. I am guessing he had a late fuel stop.

I think I'm going to have a heart attack
I keep saying that I do not mind Jay at all, even when he bashes the Sox on occassion. He is right on target sometimes, maybe, once in a while. Of course, I do acknowledge as a disclaimer that his dislike of the Sox, Reinsdorf and Hawk is personal and that he changes his mind so much that of course he is going to be right on occassion. However, he is like most fans in a way, we love our teams when they win and we bash them when the lose. I shall now duck the numerous "Jay Sucks" thrown my way

Reds acquire Bronson Arroyo for Wily Mo Pena
Peter Gammons compared Pena to a young Jesse Barfield and think he can take off in the same way.

Hermanson's career in doubt with injury
QUOTE(G&T @ Mar 20, 2006 -> 11:28 PM) I think it's just one of those things. He's always had the problem, but it kinda gets worse every year and there really isn't anything to do about it except try to manage the pain. I guess degeneration is a fair way to describe it. Well this is a bummer. We probably should count him out. That is a painful situation.

Hermanson's career in doubt with injury
Who remembers how he first hurt his back or is this just a chronic degeneration over time?

Joe Borchard Traded to Seattle
Given up a guy who hit 29 homeruns in Triple A last year, hit 5 of 12 for the Sox and hit .324 this spring for a picher with an ERA of last year of 5.51, raising his career avg to 4.82 and having a spring era of 14.14 while giving up 18 hits in 7 innings? You better really spike that White Sox Kool-Aid to get me to believe that this is a good trade. It is not a bad trade as Joe was not going to contribute much to us this season, but I do not see how Thornton can either.

Song Question?
QUOTE(whitesoxhype @ Mar 11, 2006 -> 10:53 AM) I know this question is out there, but here goes nothing....After the first broadcasted, WGN showed highlights of Ozzie from last year, and in the back ground, they had a great song playing. I was wondering if anyone knew what song it was? Something about soul? Share it with us. Was it the Killers?
